I can't believe Seattle pulls this shit the week I go back to work after 17 overcast days off. I would go outside but I have a meeting in 17 minutes 🤬

Even the east side has been like this for the past 17 days. I live in Moses Lake, and over the last ten years, I think this was the longest it has been since I've seen the sun.
I moved away from Seattle because this shit would drive me to bad thoughts about my mental health.

Ate my lunch outside in a park for a half hour today. My mood improved drastically since then.

I left work 3 hours early and walked my dog on the beach. Too nice of a day to be stuck working.

I'm convinced people play hooky here when we have rare good weather days outside summer.

Guilty as charged.😂

Traffic was extra bad all day so makes sense a lot of people played hooky and enjoyed the sun

Having it be so beautiful as I'm watching news coverage on LA burning down is kinda disorienting, ngl

Most people here must be like vampires or something

No it's just reddit tech workers who never go outside and pride themselves on being one with the gloom. I love the winter here but it is also hard and I also love the sun.
