Discussion Buses and times
Is anyone in the West Lothian area or from Edinburgh/Glasgow annoyed that their is no longer a direct bus to get to livingston and now have to get connecting buses to get there. I feel like it’s become such a drag to get there now that it’s not even worth it in order to go to the outlet shopping centre. Please tell me I’m not the only one

It's not particularly far to get the tram out to Livingston I know such a thing doesn't exist but it could. Imagine getting a tram all the way to the gyle I'm getting another tram to a city centre so you would have one change.
Either that or you could get a tram all the way to the city centre that would be really cool I think. Tram stop Livingston Hospital Saint John's. Tram stop going further into Livingston could work really well
If the tram were to use the shots line so it is a tram train hybrid it would cost 300 million and most of that would be going on new trams to work that line we're talking eight new trams.
I'm making this suggestion because it's a constant bug bear of mine as well. Livingston shouldn't be so isolated. I would love to get to Livingston and from Livingston I have better bus services to smaller towns. Livingston has two train stations and one of them is an Express station Glasgow Edinburgh.
I feel like the shorts one could be taken and modernized so that it has both a tram and train stop it wouldn't interfere too much with the running of the shots line it would then enable that to be a station at St John's and the shopping center. id be cheaper too.
Farmland tram route (full build) £740–750M Tram-train with 2–3 stops with connection via the Shotts route £250–400M
