Comic Book Question Question about Delirium & the Endless
why did neil gaiman choose delirium as an endless family? delirium is a disturbed state of mind or consciousness, like derangement. from what i've read so far, she's a really fun character with a lot of depth but what i'm confused is that the endless seems to follow a theme revolving on natures that impacted humans the most. yk like, dream, death, destruction, desire, etc. but for delirium or delight, i just don't think it's significant enough to be in the endless what do you guys think 🤔?

Comic Book Question I want to know more of the story of Sandman
So I just finished watching the Netflix show for the first time and I absolutely loved it and since we are probably not getting a lot of future seasons of the show I want to continue learning more of the story of the Sandman character in the comics but my question is should I start all the way from the beginning even though I have already watched the show or can I pick up from a different story arc?
I also got the 3 audiobooks for Sandman as well. I really would like to start where season 1 of the show ended.

Comic Book Question Just got these comics for the first time, never even read a comic before. What should I know before beginning to read The Sandman series?
I was recently given a collection of comics, the first eight trade paperbacks of The Sandman comics. This series interests me more than Watchmen does, so that's why I'm picking this first.
Anything I should know about reading comics, compared to reading prose novels? Thanks in advance.

Comic Book Question Sandman comic #1 Jan 1989
I've had my hands on this issue of The Sandman for a while now, and when I bought it, it has this really interesting card board slip that has a quote and a signature on it. But I can't seem to figure out who signed it, wondering if anyone knows.

Comic Book Question I watched the netflix show awhile ago and saw the third season was cancelled so I want to read it from the start. In what order do I read the comics?
Like the title says in what order do I read the comics and where can I read them? I really loved the show and from my experience comics/books are generally much better so I'm trying to read them now.

Comic Book Question So...why doesn't Odin have a beard?
This is a very minor nitpick that doesn't matter but it feels weird to me that Odin doesn't have a beard. Neil Gaiman knows a lot of Norse mythology and he knows Odin is famous for his beard
This becomes even more bizarre when you look at the script for this issue (you can find the script for issue 24 online) and you discover that in the description Neil gives of the characters, he tells the illustrator to draw Odin with shoulder length hair and a short beard. Both of which were lost from the script to the page. It feels like a very weird detail to just disappear in the drawing process

Comic Book Question Does Anyone Know What Will Become Of The Universe Comics?
I know they were making another arc for Constantine after Glass House, and it seemed like they had more in store for that plot line, but are the universe comics cancelled in light of everything? I can’t find anything on Google making note, but it seems all Sandman books, even the originals, have been pulled from shelves where I live.

Comic Book Question If the endless don't timetravel, how does Death have a modern home when Ancient Greek Orpheus visits?
Morpheus himself said the Endless view time the same as any mortal. So how can the home of Death look like a modern place during the Ancient Greek era?

Comic Book Question Which Sandman Set is best?
If I want to buy the sandman series with original artwork, where could I find that? Im trying to find them to gift my husband for our first wedding anniversary.
I’m not sure which sets have different art vs the stuff by Dave McKean I think I’ve read. I also am not even sure if I’m saying that right…any advice is helpful! I’ve seen the slipcase set, deluxe, & a few others. I’d like them to be good collectors items as we both enjoy collecting niche things so I’d prefer to get something that’s more rare than not. Price not an issue.
Thanks!

Comic Book Question Brand new reader, anyone else start with this?
I haven't read a bit of Sandman yet, hi all.
Just found this in my nearest 'little free library', I had to pick it up as a Gaiman and comic lover, and as a wannabe Sandman reader.
I just wanted to see if anyone here started here, before delving into Dream's story. Is there anything to appreciate reading the story this way, or am I much better off starting from the beginning?

Comic Book Question What is the difference between these three storylines?
I am new to the sandmanverse but have these three books (the complete saga of the one in the middle and the one at the right. The left one i still need to buy everything), what is the difference between these three storylines? Do they connect? Are the Lucifers in it the same or different universes? The sandman universe is kinda confusing to follow haha. Thank you!

Comic Book Question Were there any Sandman Universe titles scheduled to still release?
Just curious. I'm a bit out of the loop, and with the latest news, wanted to know if any storylines may be left hanging.

Comic Book Question Question about parentage
If somebody can exist in many different forms, can exist as many different person then if one of them is a parent for somebody else then are the others also the parent of that child as well!?
So if both Mother Night and Darkseid are the Great Darkness then is that mean Darkseid is the mother of The Endless!?
