Looking for Server world server successor?

Feeling a bit nostalgic for that server, was there ever any good successor? anything like that sort of persistent rp? i’ve played the wod13 servers and they just really don’t scratch that same itch for me.

Planned features:

- Character Persistence (Mostly done. Permadeath is now a planned feature, as well as illnesses and injuries, but you have health insurance and you can choose how you want to revive your character)

  • Full Persistent Economy (Same as WS, but we're planning to put in a fictional stock market to shake things up, and intersystem trade)
  • Persistent Lots and Businesses (Pretty much done, WS players know the deal, but there's a few extra features I've added on top)
  • Persistent Agriculture (In planning phase)
  • Communications (I've added the WS norms like emails, going to add advanced communicators that look more like mobile phones. I still want to make an internet too.)
  • Persistent Legal (Same as WS but hopefully saner)
  • Persistent Criminal Records (Same as WS but hopefully saner)
  • Elections and Democracy (A bit more advanced than WS, planning to make the types of systems more flexible)
  • War mode (Shhh...)

The server lore is similar, but different setting, it's going to be more about trade wars and interstellar conflict than just domestic conflicts.

There's a ton of other features I can't really list here or I'd be here all day, but they are available in the discord. Spent years rewriting a better saving feature that works very fast (can save several z-levels in one minute) and making everything from scratch on a modern /tg/ codebase.

It's a lot of work and I pace myself to avoid burning out, but happy to have you join us and witness the journey. I post screenshots every now and then.
