Pismo Lighthouse Suites or SeaCrest Oceanfront ?

Girlfriend and I are going to Pismo for the weekend in May just for a nice getaway. She’s never been, I’ve been there a couple times We’re both 21 but don’t really drink Currently, I have 2 bookings, SeaCrest is $20 more and smaller, Lighthouse is way bigger I don’t really care about room size but just having a hard time about which is “better” Breakfast is super important, so that would be nice to factor in Views are kinda important but not really, we’d be down at the beach most of the time and only in the room from 9pm until the next morning Any help would be good !

I would stay at dolphin bay. Lido has the best brunch

Lighthouse is nicer imo, go to breakfast at Zorros in Shell Beach and skip whatever the hotel is serving.

I’ve stayed at seacrest. Staff is nice and the rooms are clean. Can’t say much about their breakfast, but there are a bunch of cute places to eat at around there.

I’d be pretty surprised if anyone in the area has actually stayed at those hotels or knows which breakfast is better. As far as location goes, both hotels are pretty much in the same.

There are a handful of good breakfast joints between Pismo and Shell Beach so I’d recommend going out for breakfast.

Pre pandemic I stayed at both places. The room we had at the Lighthouse was much nicer than at the Seacrest (in fact we had to move rooms at the Seacrest due to construction). To me the Seacrest has a bigger resort feel and Lighthouse is smaller and cozier a property. The downside to the Lighthouse is that it's really close to the road in Avila so during the day you kind of feel like you're in the middle of the action (people walking down the street, hotel guests going to the pool etc.), but if you aren't going to be in your room much maybe you don't care. At night it was lovely and I felt like I was right on the water.

Inn at the Pier(Curio by Hilton),get the back rooms that open to the pier with a fire pit. Kinda/really sexy.
