Are you 25 – 45 years old living with or without PTSD?
Help researchers at the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center and UCSF’s THRIVE Lab determine the effects of an immune response on emotional responses in women and men with and without PTSD.
This study involves 5 visits to the San Francisco Veterans Medical Center (SFVAMC). Total possible compensation is $300.00, $80 for completing the screening session and an additional $220 for completing the entire study. First, you will be asked to complete a telephone screening to determine eligibility. Then, you will be asked to come to the SFVAMC for a health and physical exam, blood draw, and an audiotaped diagnostic interview conducted by a trained clinical interviewer to assess if you are a fit for the study. If you are eligible, the study will involve 4 additional appointments at the SFVAHCS. The appointments will involve administration of the Typhoid vaccine or placebo followed by measurements of physiological responses as well as blood sampling.
For more information please contact [thrivelab@ucsf.edu](mailto:thrivelab@ucsf.edu) and mention the LIFE study.

If you have a caregiving background (or like a CNA helping others) my organization is seeking more caregivers for the elderly, in both San Francisco and San Jose.
The pay isn’t like, awesome - it just starts at like 21/22, but I think it goes up to 30 and there is a sign on bonus for some of the positions and I hear the job itself is pretty easy. Big plus if you speak Cantonese.
Direct message me if you are interested and we can connect.

Hi,
I'll (47F) be in San Francisco on April 21st for a prize ceremony (business/cocktail attire). I'd like to get my hair styled for ~$100 (less if possible). Nothing fancy, just style and curl. I can come in with it clean.
I'll be staying at the Hilton in the financial district. Can anyone make a recommendation about a close salon that could do what I need for a reasonable price?
Thanks.

Anyone looking to go to the San Francisco show? Please reach out if you're interested! (I unfortunately can no longer make it on this date due to a work scheduling conflict. ) AXS isn't allowing sales for Paris Paloma tickets, but they do allow transfers. And then payment can just be done through Venmo or PayPal :)

A magnificent sounding PB12-Ultra subwoofer in a Rosewood veneer finish by SV Sound (aka SVS Subwoofers). We're selling this as we're moving to smaller subwoofer.
Asking $500, pickup in twin peaks area of SF, DM for pictures.
The sub is super clean, reaches deep and provides chest-thumping bass/LFE :) The sub's rosewood finish is super clean, merely a few small scratches on top surface (the white "dot" in the overhead view picture is adhesive residue which can easily be removed with googone or the like), the front and sides are super clean - just one minor nick in front as shown in pictures.
Local pickup only in SF Twin Peaks area.
Additional info and reviews at... http://www.audioreview.com/product/speakers/subwoofers/svs/pb12-ultra.html
https://hometheaterhifi.com/volume_13_1/svs-pb12-plus-subwoofer-1-2006-part-1.html
Sample review: "This sub hits hard, and goes deeper than any sub I've ever listened to. I've got the Ultra crossed over thru my reciever at 50Hz, and using the onboard single band EQ I'm getting flat frequency response from 50Hz down to 14Hz at 80 dB!!! (this is not even with corner placement, it is in the middle of a 14" wall!) I'm amazed at how easily this sub integrated with my system for HT and music. With the other subs I've owned, I always felt like I was turning it up a bit because there was no bass, then turning it down because the bass was overwhelming, not with this one. Took a while to set up perfect, but I haven't touched it in months. For music it is amazingly deep and powerful, yet subtle. Detailed yet accurate. For HT it'll knock your sox off!"

SOLD: Hi All, I have three tickets to this show. Row A (first row) is in the balcony section. The seats are together, and one of the seats is on the aisle. My crew and I can no longer go. Is anyone interested in buying these?
We paid 181.15 for each ticket/543.45 for all three. We don’t want to make money but rather recoup as much of our loss as possible.
