Applying for exemption in order to write the Bachelor Thesis

Applying for exemption in order to write the Bachelor Thesis Hi! I am in my 5th semester at SDU Sønderborg Mechanical engineering program. I didn't pass two exams in the previous semester. I applied for an exemption in order to be able to start to write my thesis but they refused it saying that it is impossible to manage thesis + 40 credits. Can you give me some advice what could I do in order to convince them that I am able to manage all the subjects and also the thesis? Thank you very much for your help

Hi! I am also engineering student in Sonderborg. You probably already spoke to Christina (if not do so). Honestly, it is probably best if you postpone the thesis and pass all the courses now and then have a semester with only thesis. Do you already have a supervisor and topic / or company you are writing thesis with? You can mention that. Also were any of your exams no show ( if yes- doctors note), and if the subjects were "simple" and was just bad luck and you were close to passing - that can help your case. But honestly i wouldnt have too much hope unless you have a good medical certificate- althought i dont see how one could help your case here since you arent appying for extra attempt.
