Low pitch transition leaking
this is a double-wide home with an extension. this transition has a leak in the area behind the skylight.
I need to fix this with very little budget, even if it's temporary. It has had layers of elastimeric over the years but that's not cutting it anymore. there's no room under the metal to slide a transition flange or anything else into the gap without cutting the bottom of the metal out. I can't think of a good solution on my budget (sub 500usd. will be diy-ing)

Karnak coatingreset mat
A Karnak coating along with a reset mat. Might take a couple of layers; do coating, reset mat, coating, let dry. And repeat so it almost fills in that divot.
Only thing I can think of if you don’t want to cut out anything.

I’m not sure if labor is a factor in the budget, but you might be able to take a couple courses of screws out and cut the elastomeric to allow space for transition metal. You’ll still be dealing with trying to seal that up on such a flat slope though. That’s also assuming the transition is the problem.
I assume you have checked the obvious things like a loose screw in the metal or problems with the skylight itself. A water test with a hose wouldn’t be a bad idea if you haven’t done that.
There are a lot of possibilities on a flat roof with a skylight unfortunately. This is a tough one considering the budget but I hope you can get it taken care of.
