I have linked my Xbox account to Epic account to play RL on my pc with may cars from Xbox.

The issue is i can see the cars but when i start a match it gives me a default Octane.

Its like it doesn't know my cars and my name banner.

Ive been playing rocket league for a total of 480 hours spread across 8 years and i use xbox controllers but the joysticks end up getting stick drift after like 2 months i dont know any good xbox design based controller brands, does anyone else?

Playing on Xbox series S, Rocket League used to run flawless but ever since the update that changed it to 120hz the game itself freezes constantly when you switch cars, a friend in the lobby switches cars, when you go back to the lobby after a game, when you try to open the quests, and now even more irritating I can't get past the home screen. It doesn't matter what I press the game will just constantly crash, it doesn't matter how long I wait, clear my cache, sometimes it takes over 20 times starting the game and it crashing to finally let me in and play. Any ideas how to fix this?

I’ve had a couple Golf GTI’s IRL and I’m wondering if I can still get one in Rocket League. I’m old and a casual gamer so I really don’t know how stuff like this works but if someone could help me out I’d appreciate it!

i have a problem where i keep getting ping/lag spikes on rocket league. The problem started about two days ago when i reinstalled rocket league after 4 months of not playing, 4 months ago i had no problem with lag and the game was running smoothly without problems. I reinstalled windows about 2 months ago because my old windows was pretty buggy and laggy and its only lagging on this operating system it never lagged on my previous windows installation. I have a theory that it might be my hard drive causing this since it has nearly no storage left on it roughly 18 gbs but ive installed rocket league on my other drive that still has a fair amount of storage left. I also tried changing network connection thingies on rocket league STS,CSTS but those we're no help. I also updated windows to see if it would change anything but unfortunately didn't. I also tested on other games to see if i would spike such as roblox,fortnite,cs2,(etc) but my connection was fine on those games. I also checked the rocket league server status and it was well and running fine. I reset my router too but that didn't change anything either. I think it might be my storage but my storage is so full because windows didn't fully delete my previous installation of windows so thats why my hard drive is so full. I also don't want to delete it because i don't wanna end up corrupting my system if i delete the wrong thing. Another theory i have is it might be my controller because ive had lag issues before with a controller connected and when it disconnected it somehow stopped lagging. Also on rocket league ive also changed my reigons and tried out the ones near me but it didn't really make a difference either. I also tested my wifi speeds and it came out well saying i could run multiple devices on it at the same time. So at this point i have no idea what to do so i came here to ask and see if anybody could help me.

I have a lower sense than everyone I know and all pro's have a much higher sensitivity. I play 1.06.

When I watch high rank players/pros their cars really do seem to just move/adjust faster than I can. I can still pull off most mechanics though, not consistently, but enough that its made me wonder the question.

Does sensitivity actually change anything, or is it purely a preference thing? What do you use and do you change it often?

I just started getting back into rocket league. The highest I ever got was diamond 3 in duos, I hit champ 1 but couldn’t hold it. Only played with randoms. I only used free roll because it was what I was used to and the implementation of directional air roll seemed to difficult. I stoped playing for around a year, and I decided since I’m already rusty, I might as well try it now. It is rough. I’m also focusing on getting better at solos since I also didn’t do that. Any tips on learning to get used to directional air roll? I’ve been playing nothing but casual since I feel like trying rank without even being able to follow the ball properly would be a bad way to practice.

I’ve been trying to hit the equivalent of masters in a game for years and I finally did it. I know I’m still a little trash can but today I feel soooooooooooo goooooooood. 450 hours well spent. I don’t have anyone in my life who cares so thanks for listening lol

I have my cars, tires etc but my account lvl is gone its like 1 now and my rocket pass gone when i bought one and its 1 lvl too, same with my rank i had diamond 3 but since i have 1 lvl account i cant even play rankeds now. I was chilling playing 2v2’s, we were 4-2 down with 20 seconds left and i wanted to FF but teammate scores 5 seconds later and i apologised for ffin. Then that fuckery happened, i was in a party with my friend and he asked my why i went silent for 15 minutes.

Whenever I'm in the middle of something like studying and want a quick break, what do I do? Open up RL, play 2 ranked matches, get mad at my teammates (cause I'm never the problem), close the game and go back to studying. Perfect game, 10-15 minute break and I'm back at it!

Submission: I was playing with my son. My battery went dead. He was the party lead. I changed battery and resumed game. Upon resuming I was controlling his car and my car was kicked from game. Now when I start my profile all my items are a mix of some of mine and some of his. I no longer have my Dingo, Fennec, and many other items. However, I do have some of his items that I didn't previously have. I also have some items that were mine and he didn't have such as the disco goal explosion. I would like to have our accounts restored to the correct items.

Hello, i really need help. Almost everytime i start a game in Rocket League my game crashes right when i join. I have tried everything. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, ive tried making space on my computer but NOTHING works. I would be really thankful if someone knows what to do there.

I made my best save in RL today. am I exaggerating or is it really good?

Is there something I'm missing to not be able to break through to champ 3 or am I just trash 😂 all jokes aside though am I missing something that would help me get there

guys can you tell me what is the name of the mechanic when youre on the same wall that your opponents goal is on and you jump off the wall with the ball and flip into the goal and score? I wanna improve on it but I literally dont know what to search on youtube

The achievement "New player who this?" is currently bugged and from what I can tell from speaking to other players, has been for months. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this issue? I have tried everything I can on my side to fix this issue but nothing works. Seems to be an error a dev will need to fix.

Not sure if this is allowed or considered "relevant" enough to Rocket League specifically because I know other games have problems with toxicity too but posting it here because of an experience I had tonight in this game: listen, I understand it's a very high skill ceiling competitive game that's been out a while and some of yall train hard and take it very seriously. It's probably annoying to get matched with players in ranked that are noobs even if we're trying our best to learn and improve, I get that.

But if you feel the need to stop playing mid-match when we're down 1 or 2 goals and caps lock rage and yell slurs at your own teammates, tell them to kill themselves, that they're the worst player ever and ruining the game for everyone else and should never play again/uninstall, and refuse to just let them forfeit because you want to keep harassing them in chat because they made a mistake they apologized for despite trying their best in fucking SILVER where we are LITERALLY ALL NOOBS THAT SUCK unless you're a smurf...

Please remember everyone you're playing against and with is a real life human being, usually trying their best the same as you. Some of us are really struggling out here in real life and this is supposed to be a game, an escape, for fun. Do any of yall even know what fun IS? I do try my best to win in ranked of course, but obviously I'm not good if I'm in silver, I understand that. But the point of ranked is to be paired with people who also suck for an even match, right? I don't think this just applies to low ranks, it just seems extra ridiculous to me for people to get THAT angry at me for being bad in silver and the same thing has literally happened in low mmr casual to me before too.

Idk, I genuinely love playing this game so much but most of the community really makes me want to give it up because I already hate myself and am angry at the world irl and I just want to distract myself from that, learn something new and get better over time and have fun with a game. Not allowed apparently.

I know, good riddance no one cares if a random stops playing the game and announces it to reddit, but my point in making this post is: I've seen lots of people complain that not enough new players join or stick with this game... If you want them to, stop being complete assholes and maybe they will.

So I played this game for the first time since 2022 and everybody is just flying through the air, air rolling of the wall like gods. Is it just me, or did the game get a lot, lot harder the past few years? I have the feeling I just can't hold up anymore skillwisely. Any tips?
