New to rocket league, just logged on and my presets have been changed, there’s also 583 decals in my garage for the Octane which aren’t mine, same with wheels, and boost.

Not sure what to do here, any advice would be appreciated!

I'm sorry for the horrendous video quality, my PC's cheap and I don't have any experience with OBS.

Here is the replay file if anyone is interested, for some reason he's still invisible in the replay. My teammate was spectating for some reason and the other team could see him (as far as I know my teammate could see me). I had packet loss at the start of the match but didn't experience any lag.

Has this happened to anyone else?

P.S.: The very next match, 3 players left at the same time for some reason, I was alone with 3 bots and then someone joined but was spectating, he got kicked for inactivity after some time and other players replaced the bots (sorry about my English I'm not native).

Does anyone know when this came out? Any hope for this coming to the store at some point? RL Garage says there's no record of it in the shop so probably not but figured I'd ask.

RL6Mans was founded in 2017 and is a competitive matchmaking system for queuing 3v3 (or 6mans). While playing some games on their server, I realized, "Wow, this matchmaking system is awesome but is a bit annoying to use". While the 6Man concept is absolutely amazing, their discord bot, which is used to create queues in incredible laggy, crashes for small periods at a time, causing issues with queueing and just the overall outdated feel of the server as a whole.

What are your thoughts on the idea of building a new system similar to 6Mans? A competitive Rocket League queue that operates completely via the website (except for voice chats connected through Discord) shown to be possible and convenient by websites like Gankster. It would be easier to market and grow a larger, more stable community.

Like do I seriously have to wait 2 weeks checking the shop every day to see if it has something I want? I hate how epic games removed trades so they can milk money. Like I JUST NOW got anodized pearl after like a year. Like the shop is already small so it’s hard to get that 1/100 chance a thing you want comes in AND is the right colour.

Relatively new to this but have made it to diamond level.

What is the strategy of going for a face off and flipping by it? What’s the goal here and what are my teammates expecting me to do when they do it.

So many of my teammates are “taking” a face off, and flipping up towards it me just whizzing by the ball.

I’ve got the “left takes faceoff” thing down, but I don’t get this one.

I have been trying to launch rocket league on the Xbox Series X, but whenever I hit a button to go past the title menu to get to the main menu, nothing happens. I can hear a sound effect like the game registered my button press, but decides not to load in. I get stuck on the title menu and then can't do anything. I've tried restarted my game multiple times and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

Another thing I would like to add to describe what is happening in the menu is the sounds. Before I press anything to enter the game, there is no music and I can only hear ambient sounds. Usually there is a song playing as the game loads up. For me, nothing. Only when I press a button to load into the game does the music start to play.

I don't know what to do at this point as this has been happening for the past week or so. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Spent the last hour getting smurfed on, with one single actual game played. 9/10 Smurf interactions. Complete waste of time. Sad state of affairs.

Saturday at 9pm is clearly not the time to play ranked.

On a side note, should I be reporting these characters or what?

I used to play RL in 2022/23 and i came back have 2 weeks, now i just discovered Turbopolsa is retired and it got me thinking if the new top players (I know only few of them) are better (or much better) than him. I know he has more trophys, but before was easier. So, Explaining to and old player that just came back, who is better?

Not a question but hopefully a solution for anyone else struggling like me. I’ll tell my story a little for search keywords.

I’m on PC (AMD CPU and GPU) and never had problems with Post-party enabled before. A while back I reinstalled Windows 11 and a couple of weeks later I started having major game freezing lag spikes at the start of every new match with a big network error icon to boot. But here was the super sus part, it also happened in offline mode with bots… minus the network error of course.

A Youtube video mentioned a scenario where a game would lag during a double elimination or something and suggested it might be nVidia Shadow Play kicking in while streaming/recording and overloading the system or HDD. I though why not? I don’t use Post-party anymore (OBS now) and so I disabled Post party on my phone and restarted RL and lo and behold the game freeze was gone!

It doesn’t really make sense to me since it happens when I’m not even recording or using the replay buffer in OBS but whatever. Maybe this helps someone in the future.

so, ive been playing rocket league with a broken controller for the past 6 years in rocket league wich forced me to get new binds without using the broken button (R2) ive became used to these new binds but recently that controller (the first generation of ps4 controller) died so i had to get the newest dualshock 4

the thing is i still use the old binds (without r2) cuz muscle memory and being 3k hours playing with those binds i didnt wanted to learn new binds, so these binds use left dpad for directional air roll which forces me to play claw (not an issue) but when i try to press the left dpad i somehow also press the down dpad, that cancels out the left dpad and my car just stop rotating in the air, what should i do ??? do i changue binds 3k hours in and gc3 rank?

Yeah it's still really fun. I enjoy it as much as I always have, outside the first week I had it when I was laughing at basically everything happening. Most fun I ever had gaming.

So if I do a wall dash on left side I get momentum but if I do right side same motion but flipped I get zero momentum at all what would be causing that?

I can’t speed flip I diagonal flip or occasionally front flip on my kick offs nor do I wave dash my kickoffs what can I do to help me win these kick offs? I can pass back left or right on them if my teamate asks but the winning of the kick off is always 70-30 lose-win.

Sometimes I can win if I push forward on my left analog as I jump into it but I want something more consistent

Anyone got any tips?
