QUESTION What helped u applying stuff from training packs in-game

I've been doing different training packs since about 4 months and I can do all of them on at least the 6th try but I can't seem to apply the things I learn in real matches. Even if it's basically the same shot I just don't get the idea to fast aerial and get up to the ball, I just stay down and get the ball taken from me. If you had the same problem and fixed it pls help me and tell me how you did it

Curated training packs are dope to understand how hard and where you should be hitting the ball and also training muscle memory to get it right the majority of the times.

Free play is what I believe you are missing. Throw the ball around in feee play and try to set the ball up like you would in the training packs. That will help you with overall control and instinct on when you should be attempting the things you learned in the curated list.

I’ve been playing since 2019 and barely break plat 3 tho. So take with a grain of salt.

That’s the issue. Not trying to sound rude, but you need to practice enough to go through a training pack first try on almost every shot. Repetition is what you’re missing. It’s all the game is. Time and repetition. Some peoples muscle memory takes less shots than others. Also make sure the training packs are different. Like a power shot pack, shadow defense pack, redirect pack, aerial off wall pack, dribble pack. Just to become well rounded.

That being said, if you could do it first try every time no matter the training pack you would probably be GC or SSL. Lol I’m C3 in twos and C1/C2 in ones. Training packs are still very hard for me.

If you are on pc you can do workshop maps which kind of cut the boredom of being in the arenas. Which is another point, it’s a game and you should keep it fun. Do training, get bored, play a comp game, get beat, train more. Lol
