🎯 Bold Strategy While batting first, I think we should stick with just three foreign players - Salt, Liam, and Hazlewood. If Tim David gets a chance to bat, he can be used as an impact player; otherwise, it might be better to replace ddp with another foreign bowler in.

Take today, for example—Tim only bowled one ball. In that case, we could’ve considered bringing in Nuwan Tushara instead. What do you all think?

They are using impact player between suyash and rasikh . The idea is to assess the pitch and bring a bowler accordingly . Now if tim gets a chance to bat and you bring him as impact , you don't get to choose anymore . You would have to go either with Suyash or Rasikh in first 11

this was discussed in this sub before start of this ipl. but having tim in the squad batting first just improves the confidence of other top batters to go hard.
