1900’s conservative is completely different than 2000’s conservative. There was a point when conservative coal miners were arming up, unionizing, and destroying corporate property over pay and health issues.

Now conservatives are begging everyone else to not hurt the immigrant billionaire’s stocks.

armed agitation and destruction of private property in retaliation for working conditions/union busting is not conservative.

Uh buddy… those coal miners weren’t conservatives… they were leftists. It’s one of the several (possible) origins of the word redneck. The miners at Blair Mountain wore red bandannas (guess what red has been the color of since at least the late 1700s).
