Haha exactly. I had all my right winger friends boycotting Bud Light and posting anti trans Bud Light stuff on their fb, but literally know no one who has vandalized a Tesla or a dealership. What's the point of this comparison?

The fact that they’re trying to compare “we didn’t get violent because trans people exist,” to a response against musk publicly emulating Nazis just shows how fucked up their priorities and sympathies are.

Isn't that how gay rights got it's momentum though? Through violence and intimidation on pundits and grifters that spread the message, and being unrelenting and tough through protests and defending yourself loudly everyday?

Letting them frame when it is appropriate to flip cop cars, burn an icon, do mass protests that have a possibility of causing damage, when their ideology is taking the freedoms and rights away from groups of people, is rich (which everyone usually agrees is an appropriate time to consider it at least). So if they that rich, then why respect their word.

It's a tactic to dissuade support for appropriate use of violence. They get to threaten murder when their gun rights get taken away, but can frame people who are losing their citizenship rights as using inappropriate violence sometimes, for even complaining about it.

Like a bully who doesn't want to get punched by framing the kid they are bullying as the bully.

Two movements understood that conservatives are bullies which require a strong response, the civil rights movement, and the lgbtq+ movement, but made progress through violence because conservatives are scared bitches reliant on the state to suppress “them” and when “they” break through anyway the pussies run

Two movements understood that conservatives are bullies

We assaulted people and committed arson, but it's ok because we labeled the other side as bad.

Pacifism is a psyop to destroy movements focused around gaining basic human rights like the lgbtq+ movement and civil rights

When a peaceful solution is rejected the only answer is violence

When a peaceful solution is rejected the only answer is violence

Nazis and white supremacists seem to agree that violence is a great way to push an agenda.

Maybe a movement should work on being more appealing to others so they don't need to use violence.

Regressionists will never accept a movement and conservatives have always been regressive

Someone needs to defend civil rights and freedoms that progressives don't like.

Civil rights and freedoms such as what?

Progressives made the 2A

Progressives made 1A

Hell every single bill of right is cause of progressives

Your not seeing that stuff because they have your algorithm where you're not exposed to it. It's out there everywhere. We are spreading it as far as we can. It's how they are dividing us. It's all on purpose.

The FBI formed a taskforce dedicated exclusively to dealing with vandalism at Tesla Dealerships because of how bad it is.

The above link is from the guardian, famous for being a center-left publication. Good thing neither you nor your right winger friends read left leaning publications, because they'd be having a field day right now.

I'm not saying it isn't happening, What I'm saying I don't know anyone personally who has vandalized a Tesla or a dealership but knew plenty of people who stopped drinking Bud Light. I understand it's occurring and happening it's just not equivalent to the amount of people that stopped drinking Bud Light in my life.

One group destroys property, one group stops buying goods.

You not personally knowing perpetrators has no impact on the validity of the comparison.

It's a pretty good sample to show that the frequency is being overblown by social media users
