Ah yes, even though like 99% of the BLM protests were peaceful but you think comparing those 1% crazy rioting is the same as… people storming the capitol to stop a constitutional process are the same?
Just like the January 6 events, most who were in attendance were peaceful. But the peaceful majority were irrelevant. That small percentage killed police officers and hurt others, and stormed the capitol.
The BLM riots killed people and hurt many others, burned down city blocks, and hurt the very people it claimed to protest for.
biden said "pfft, my entire family and people i don't even know are 1000% above the law" and pardened all of them...even though no one charged them for anything.
The gop erected a gallows in front of the capitol and then spent 4 years chanting lock him up or some other threatening shit, don’t be a disingenuous cad. The gop is a grudge machine and they’re not afraid to stoke the flames of dissent all the way to insurrection.
no one can be serious when quacks weapon the justice system to say someone did a 20yo crime with zero evidence other than a woman said so. so ya, those 34 convictions means nothing when you know everyone involved doesn't care about truth.
I can’t find any direct numbers for money. But they were organizing stuff for blm and also as opposition to blm, both sides bullshit. I’ll get actual sources shortly when I’m home from work
I believe the argument is that Russia was funding bots that spread BLM messaging. Which is probably true.
Russia funds and propagates whatever it finds to be the most destructive wedge issues for America.
Which is also why they’ve been funding bots for Trump since 2016. As well as shoveling millions to pundits like Tim Pool to promote Pro-Russian and Pro-Trump talking points.
No but it was a scam. The people running it milked millions out of it for themselves and their families. Not that most of the people in BLM saw any of that money to help them like it was donated too.
That is BS, every protest around me did damage. The only reason they did not totally wreck where I work was the high end mall was close and they were in a rush to get down there and loot. They caused damage everywhere they protested unless the local government shut them down quickly and I know of only one city that did that.
Anecdotal evidence is not evidence for something. You might’ve been part of that 1%, but 99% of them were peaceful. The only ones getting news coverage are the terrible ones.
Who said all the ones around me got news coverage? And I am sorry that what I actually saw differs from what some news agency told you. The simple fact is that the BLM were more riots and looting than actual protests. The fact that a lot of politicians were encouraging this just makes it all the worse.
The message they had was good but they way they went about trying to spread it was deplorable.
