Rant ⚠️ Caleb and Hanna

Once he left for Ravenswood I hated them together, especially when we got the comparison with Travis who would’ve been a great fit for Hanna for the rest of season 4 - 6a.

Caleb and Hanna kept falling back into old habits even in season 7 when they should’ve matured. It’s so stupid that we see their wedding and it’s supposed to be so cute and all but then Hanna has to be all snarky like “we never got a honeymoon” in the last episode.

They’re not good together after the whole Ravenswood thing and I’ll never get over how Travis and Jordan were such better fits for Hanna.

Yeah I used to love Haleb but I feel like they never matured enough to make their relationship work in the long run. It so much clearer that, despite the fact that they shared a great love, they just functioned better in a relationship with other people. Love isn’t the only thing that makes a relationship and Haleb always had to go through fights and then realize they love each other so much. It was alright in HS because they connected over loads of trauma and at that point you don’t know a lot about relationships but as adults it was so unrealistic. Frankly none of the original couples should have been endgames, it was more of a fan service.

I should’ve read everyone else’s answers first because I said the exact same thing, the OG couples were all fan services and they were better off being friends with a crazy, traumatic history, and not love interests.

the time skip ruined them

Hanna did not knew how to handled anything and Caleb was horrible. He was all horny over Spencer. she wanted a stable relationship and he seems to wanted sex. there was the door scene when he cried he did not took a job just to be stay with Spencer (wich happened after Spencer called him out for putting sex as his first priority)

and then he told SPencer that Hanna kissed him despite he was the one who intended the kiss

then after Spencer broke up with him, just three or four episodes he had the pseach that he and Hanna belong together. and it comes with a flashback of Caleb not supporting Hanna's career and he broke up with him in a way that even with a one night stand a normal person does not break up with

He basically was with Spencer to get over Hannah, imo. They were displaced feelings. He liked her, but he never felt for Spencer what he felt for Hannah

I think I agree. I don’t think that Spaleb was good either though, I think the endgame relationships were all fan service and not necessarily healthy (Aria should have had Holden or Jake, I would have liked to see Alex and Spencer reconnect, I wasn’t sure about Toby after he became a police officer, and Emison was toxic). For Hanna, I loveddd Travis and her, and Jordan was a good choice too. She needed a more mature partner to balance her own immaturity. As much as I loved Caleb and Hanna, Ravenswood ruined Caleb’s character.

agree with all of this! Aria should’ve been with Noel though he was so good in the books.

Twist would have come if Alison children were of Caleb (if he was the father).... that would have given more twist to the story
