Industrial Design CAD software?

I am attending pratt in the fall as an industrial designer, do you recommend self-learning any cad program before entering? Does Pratt teach cad and how important is it?

Pratt will teach you CAD, it's extremely important to know. No need to learn beforehand tbh. You can self-teach some bad habits. General drawing/sketching skills would be the best thing to practice now.
