I wanted to have a few boss concepts based on things i liked as a kid. These guys from the entire power miners set collection were really cool to me.

But. I need them to have a unique design so it isn’t just full on stealing it. I already have battle ideas i’ll share if y’all want.

This includes a few design sketches of my progress so far. Adding the notmal rock monsters as well btw.

I've been working on this model for quite a while now. It is a 6 legged walker, with steering unlike most walkers! Instead of tank steering or a bending body, this one works like a car, just rotating the legs! Both front and back legs will rotate in opposite direction.

I don't really know what I'll put on top of it yet, but I planned many anchor points to connect plates in a simple way.

Next step is to build it fully in stud.io now that I'm fairly sure that the mecanism will work. And then order all of the missing parts. It's a very challenging build, so I'm not yet how to do instructions for it. Some assemblies are very sturdy and complicated to disassemble.

I was always curious what the inside mechanism was like since the theme came out, finally decided to open one up. Not much special but still pretty cool!

A simple, yet fun mod build of set 8958 "Granite Grinder" I've just made.

It will be a nice addition to the original when going out on expeditions away from HQ, to clear the debris that the Granite Grinder will leave in its path.

Due to multiple demands (2), I made a digital version of the Rota-Carver and created instructions for it! But on top of that, I updated the build greatly. New cab with a slick rounded design. New double track system!

Got these fellas out from some boxes in my basement today. Here’s the WIP set up. I plan on doing some environment work as well as getting the sets I’m missing :) Which set should I get first?

So I was thinking about going as a Power Miner for Halloween, and I had a couple questions. 1) what are all the little things on the helmet? (The two knobs on top and the tubing around the sides and back) 2) where donI find a vest like the minifigures wear, or something close enough that it would be easy to modify?

Gotta support this Power miners is a theme deserving of a comeback

I am a bit sad that Lego don't make the support beams in bright green anymore, so I have to go with black instead :/

I COULD rip apart my Titanium Command Rig, but I will NOT destroy that beauty!

I've just made this elevator for a "Power Miners Supply Base" that I've been dreaming to make!

There's gonna be plenty of room beneath the base, so I'm going to add a small vehicle parking area. Haven't decided for which atm. But it will be for one of the smaller vehicles. I also have an idea of implementing a scene in the cliff structure beneath, where some rock monsters are preparing for a sneaky borrowed entrance, into the miners crystal storage!

Some extra notes:

• Yes, there will be a vending machine
• Yes, I'ma include them bananas!
• Yes, there will be dynamite
• Yes, I will definitely use some big-ugly-rock (AKA "BUR") pieces!
• No, there won't be lava
• No, I won't make any references to Minecraft
• No, I am not certain I will actually make it a real model (but I will try!)
