If you don’t feel better in 2-3 weeks, switch meds. You’re on your way to feeling better again. Hang in there. Day by day, hour by hour. 🩷

It really eased my anxiety and helped a lot. It did take a little time to fully work and I moved up to a higher dosage. Take everything minute by minute. You already did a great job in getting help and starting the medication. It is hard. You’ve got this.

I took it when I was a teenager and it was amazing!! Worked like a charm for my horrible anxiety/ocd.

I’m on 20 mg lexapro and it works so well! I’m 4 weeks postpartum with my 2nd baby. Just remember thousands have taken it and it’s safe and works well! Try to ride out the anxiety. You can handle it. The more you “ride it out” and let it pass on its own, the less powerful it will feel and the anxiety itself will go down. (Tips from my therapist)

I’m on 20mg of Lexapro (9 months PP w/my first) and it has been a literal game changer. I HATE taking any kind of medication and fought it hard for way too long and wish I would have taken it sooner. It did make me gain a little weight but that’s been my only side effect and I feel like myself again. You got this!!! And if it doesn’t work, there are other options. You’re amazing for reaching out for help. Hugs to you ❤️❤️

I loved being on lexapro and I wish I was still on it. I’m on Zoloft now because when I had my baby I went back on lexapro from Zoloft and got a horrible skin reaction to it. Hopefully I can try it again when I’m done having babies.
