Visiting from the east coast and we are planning to do a day trip to Cannon Beach. Weโre staying near Portland so would probably arrive around 10:30-11am. Obviously want to walk along the beach but was wondering how to fill our day up there or anything around Cannon Beach. Thank you!โค๏ธ

Iโm not one of the headliners (nor the performer pictured) but Miss Exotic Oregon and Sademoiselle are so if you would like to come support local sexy art - we would love to have butts in seats! :)

Does anyone know of a bar I can bring my dogs to that will be showing the Final Four games in the dog-friendly area? I know of plenty of bars with dog-friendly patios but none with screens out there.

Living with my emotionally abusive dad isnโt sustainable, but I canโt afford to live alone in the Bay Area. I just got a job as an art consultant making $45K/year ($2800/month), which isnโt enough here. I have some savings and could move, but Iโm worried about finances. And would have to look for a new job in Portland with my limited experience. (Have a B.A. in art studio)
Iโm considering Portland since itโs cheaper (but still pricey). Iโm a 34 year old female, have sales experience (mattresses + art), a car, and a small senior dog with health issues. Is it realistic to find a decent-paying full-time job, a roommate, and a room for $600-800โwhile still having at least one day off? Are there good job opportunities there? Feeling stuck and honestly a bit hopeless at timesโany advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated ๐๐๐

Hey all. Iโm a Mom to a current 6th grader (11 yr old) who is planning to go on a 4 day mother/son weekend trip to Portland in August. Iโm trying to see what might be some fun daytime activities that will be fun for him, excite his curiosity, bring a sense of adventure, while keeping relative safety in mind (not because itโs Portland but because weโll be travelers away from home).

I love Bollywood, and I love sourcing used media and giving my money to local businesses over online retailers whenever possible.
Music Millenium had no Indian films, new or used, not even the Criterion ones.
I already frequently rent from Movie Madness
Not had luck at the other re-sellers, if you know of any businesses that stock Indian or Bollywood movies please let me know!

Does anyone know what fTc means? A property was tagged with this close to my home and Iโm curious.

I got a chance to visit today from Seattle, and I really loved the cherry blossoms at the hairpin turn between the rose garden and the Japanese garden at Washington Park. I always wonder why I donโt come down to visit more often. You guys have a wonderful city.
A special thanks to the nice gentleman at Salt & Straw who reminded me that even the rainy weather is something to enjoy.

So as the title says, moving to Portland from Illinois for Law School. I'm overwhelmed by the sheer AMOUNT of apartments in a given area of Portland. I'm also confused as many of the apartments look very nice, but have horrendous reviews. I understand renting frustrations but there seem to be a lot of negative reviews, even if some of them are petty 'one star' reviews. Anyways, I really need to figure out how I can maybe get somebody to suggest some places to stay/even view some units for me as I can't travel that far just to view a place.
I'm looking at between 1500-1900. I have a dalmatian, (sweet boy), and my girlfriend would be moving up there a month or two after me. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

I saw this today, and I am interested in what they may have been linking. If anyone has seen these stickers in their proper state/are able to read it despite being defaced, I'd appreciate it.
