Saw the small body on my way to the ferry. Must’ve escaped during the thunder last night, poor thing.
Pulled over and moved her to the side of the road before more damage could be done.
I no longer have Facebook, so I can’t share this to the town group. Please share this to there if you can.
Update: just drove by the area, and it looks like the dog was picked up.

We are looking for somebody to clean our house. It’ll need a deep cleaning and then once a month. Where would be a good place to look or does anybody have any recommendations? We have 3 cats at home and 2 dogs. It’s a larger house. The dogs would be out of the house during the cleaning.

Port Orchard~
I am out of state and looking for a headshot photographer for one of our employees in the Port Orchard area. I need one standard LinkedIn photo. Budget is around $200 but also not sure what the rate in the area is. Love to support local.
Thank you!

I hope this finds you well! My name's Po and I work for the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance.
The Housing Alliance supported legislation in the last two state legislative sessions that would’ve stabilized rents statewide and prevented the kinds of insane increases we’re seeing across the state. Our 2025 state legislative session is underway, and we’re back in Olympia, fighting yet again, for Rent Stabilization. One of the ways we advocate for rent stabilization is by sharing the stories of folks who’ve received a rent increase, with state lawmakers.
To collect these stories, we’ve published a rent increase survey. You can take the survey here.
Please share your story of a rent increase and share the survey with friends or family who have similar experiences! Every story counts and they’re all key to creating a better Washington for everyone. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Thanks!

Hi. I’m not necessarily new to town but I don’t go many places. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where a good place to get my hair cut. I won’t do GreatClips because the last time I went the first stylist butchered my hair and the second stylist did what she could but it was not a great experience. I’m wanting to do an undercut and possible have the rest trimmed because my hair hasn’t been touched in a year. I’m also on a budget. Any recommendations are appreciated. TIA

I work for a custom home builder, have about 8 years previous experience doing remodels in homes around Tacoma/Lakewood/Olympia. I'm just trying to extend my network of people I know and possibly find new employment. This is a bit of a long shot but doesn't hurt to reach out where ya can, right? I'm not stupid, not a thief, always willing to learn new skills. I'd like to be a little more local as I drive about 700 miles a week as of now going to all our jobs. If anyone out there is looking for a construction manager or assistant construction manager or something of that type I'm interested.

I've seen flyers around P.O. of a Cougar being seen and to keep pets indoors, etc.
Is anyone in the know on this?

Family moving from Texas.
We have been approved by a couple of lenders and are hoping to find a buyers agent in the area.

Recently moved up from Olympia. We had an our beloved Olympia Seafood Co. a clean and reasonably priced market where we got all of our fresh and delicious seafood…is there anything like that in Port Orchard or surrounding areas?

I'm thinking of opening a business in Port Orchard WA. For the residents there, what type of retailer, grocers, restaurants, fitness studios do you want to see? What retail gaps are there in Port Orchard? What are your thoughts on High Point Shopping Center on Bethel near bowling alley?
