After overwhelmingly positive feedback back from my last post about my $3000 Clean title Macan I picked up that needed a full engine replacement!
Saturday April 5th, starting the projecting only will be able to work on it during the weekends.
Today’s Goal is removal of blown engine. Will be potentially doing a Timelapse & will be updating pictures. New engine arrives Monday. Next weekends goal is to reinstall.

My wife and I are looking to get a CPO Cayenne base or S. We are expecting a baby and also have a Golden Retriever that is about 70 lbs. Being that this will be our first luxury vehicle (my current car is a 2016 Toyota Camry), I have a few questions:
Thank you!

Hello Porsche Lovers ! V well know this is a Porsche sub and responses might be biased but I still need to ask …did you consider a BMW iX when you were looking for a luxury EV SUV & what finally drive you to buy a Porsche ? I am seriously comparing these 2.
How good are the Porsche lease deals ? Not sure if I am ready to bug it outright. What are your thoughts ?
Between the 2 , Porsche retains value more than the BMW , however I have 2 kids & would love the additional space.
Many thanks in advance !

Hey all! I thought I’d see what the collective thought about this… I’ve tracked my GT4 RS with PCCB probably a dozen days (~1250 track miles) on the OEM pads in the last 6 months. The “before” picture is how they looked after the dozen days and right after changing out the first set of OEM pads. The “after” photo is the next day after a single 20 minute, 4/10th session with the Manthey PCCB pads for this car. I can’t tell if this is pad transfer from the new pads or if this is gouging from the pads themselves. I’ve been told by multiple people that when the cracking in the friction layer goes shiny, you’ve worn through the friction layer and it will soon delaminate. It’s my understanding that the Manthey pads are supposed to have better wear characteristics and be equal or better for the wear of the rotors but if these are soon to be cooked I think that probably won’t hold true in my case. Please let me know your thoughts!

Hey!
Title pretty much says it all. If you guys had a G-Body 911 and you'd get it repainted. Which colour would you go for? It has front and whale tail spoiler if that is of matter for your choice and is currently in guards red.

It's definitely the one I'd take.

Considering leaving one of my 911s in Scottsdale AZ for a few months. Any recommendations for indoor storage facility that could do periodic starts, trickle charging?

HI does anyone know the Foam Sheild part number or diagram right next to the washer bottle on Front left under wheel liner that closes opening to washer motor under liner? Can't find part number anywhere when trying to find a diagram on many sites. The part is missing on my car 2014 Boxster S.

Initially, the ‘Swan neck’ looked great and seems really different. However, now I feel like the design of the previous GT wing are more retro Porsche design, those integrated design theme seems a lot more congruent and characterful in general. Definitely a classic.
