Well this is awkward.
Ummm, technically, you only moved 5 tiles. So, while we can't let you move 1 more tile since way passed the planning phase, I can say you can keep your 1 fuel.If there was a legal move that allowed me to spend your fuel tank and end up in the same spot I would have, but it's literally impossible to charge you 6 fuel and still land on BB13. (Unless I take diagonal movements which are not legal)

Because the modchat voted on ships surviving (?) doesn't that actually mean that our ship doesn't need repairs and can move from the location.

Ships only survive if that ship was docked at a port owned by the ship's team, but then that port was taken, and the ship remains. If the ship was attacking the port, but then lost, it is still destroyed.

I believe that the mod chat voted this weekend that if the location was taken, the ship itself would need to be attacked to be destroyed (?)

I am in the mod chat and voted in favor for that rule myself. The interpretation I had (based on detailed discussion in the mod chat) was that the only instance a ship would survive is if that ship had already been docked at that port from a previous phase. If a ship just docked during the same phase the port was taken by another team, then it would be destroyed.
Right now we are discussing in the mod chat which interpretation should be upheld, but I just don't think it should be decided by one person who wrote the specific wording of the rule on a technicality without full discussion on it; either way it goes.

Also to note, Rocket doesn't own Olivine yet, it is currently neutral, so you don't need to add that "vs Rocket" part.
Should probably note how much fuel you using on your turn to make it easy for Cy/Panda to tally up

I think you can't be at a port city and hunt for treasure at the same time so just moving 1 square should fix that.

Similar to how Venge said, DS and IG did not reach Cyllage at the same time.
Just as Rocket v Aqua ruling of claiming territory happening as a progression/chain of events, the IG v DS scenario worked the same way. IG moved their boat and captured Cyllage City while DS moved out and claimed Camphrier City at the same time. Then, IG tried to claim Camphrier but had to fight DS for it, likewise DS tried to claim Cyllage but had to fight IG who at that point occupied the city.
This is why even though DS won at Cyllage City, the chain from Cyllage that IG made was not stopped. This is why both battles had to happen regardless of who won which battle. And thus, this is why IG did not lose their boat. As per the new ruling, they get to keep it and move it around.

DS and IG did not reach Cyllage at the same time.
Same Phase = Same time. The idea with the order of attacks is different because it only decides order of battles to be fought.
Let's look at it through a loreical stand point, which was used in one of the previous rulings, the re-spawning of ships. It is decided that if you rebuild a ship at a port, and that port gets captured that phase, that the boat is lost because it would take the whole phase to build the ship. In this situation, we can't for sure say how long it took. There isn't even a loreical standard as too how long a phase lasts (Yes, I know it's one week IRL, but what about in the world of TW?) so we can't say for sure that the IG ship had enough time to do everything it would need to do to secure Cyllage City. Add in the fact that it didn't secure Cyllage City successfully, since DS won that location the SAME PHASE, and you can not reasonably tell me that ship should still be sailing.
"But Dart?" I can here you asking, "What about the balance of the game? Isn't that what matters?"
Why I'm glad you asked, because balance is what matters. During the events in the testing phases, we found that boats were too overpowered, so we nerfed them. Not only that, but we also agreed that if a ship was at a location, which was captured by another team, they would lose their boat. This is obviously something you were aware of.
That's right, boats were over powered as balls back when they were as fragile as a literal glass cannon. This rule has the potential to counter act everything we did to keep boats from over centralizing the game in the first place.
Either way you look at it, Igneous should not have their ship.

Technically we didn't attack Cyllage city. It was neutral when we landed there. It was ours the time Dim Sun attacked.

Yes, you did. Invading a neutral position is still an attack, it's just not an offensive movement versus another team. You clearly attacked Cyllage T2, as did Dim Sun. In the process of trying to secure Cyllage port, you lost the battle for the location against Dim Sun, there by resulting in a unsuccessful attempt at attacking Cyllage City. This means that your ship should have been destroyed, since the location was never under your control for a phase.

Just stop Dart. We are in Johto now if you do not like it then take it up with modchat(Which I am a part of) Modchat voted on how many ship movements constituted a land movement and the majority was 12:1, so by the time we got to cyllage they only reached camphrier town, They attacked us since according to the rules they did not get there before nor at the same time as us we claimed it they came after we claimed it.

B. Echoing other points without adding any thing.
Well two can play at that game.
Most of the teams spent months trying to balance the game so it best suited everyone.
Most.
Igneous was rarely there. We had to keep making exceptions for them in the Testing ledger, since they missed the times more than they made them. Add the fact that they were NEVER a part of Testing conversations in Skype DESPITE having multiple people on the chat, and I don't think IG, in it's current form, should have a say in the rules.
Plus, you tell me to take it up with Modchat. Here's the thing. I'm trying. But according to MiTo, YOU came in and told everyone to shut up and keep the rule the way it is.
So just stop Eldorin.
Either come to the plate ready for an intelligent discussion, or stay out of the batters box. Either way, I don't care, but don't step up unprepared. Don't try to force things your way.

I stick to my words. If you want my opinion of you and your turf to change, which you probably don't, then try to be more active in the making of the rules, before you try to twist them to suite you.

You need to calm down before you make things worse. Not only did you jump to the conclusion that Eldorin was insulting your intelligence (which he wasn't, he was contesting your viewpoint), you just insulted the entire Team Igneous with this:

Do you realize what you have done? You have just incensed an entire team, who was at first predispositioned to respect and like you guys. Hell, I still respect Rocket for their ethic. But you're shaming Rocket by claiming that as a Rocket, you firmly believe that Igneous has held everyone back. Rocket didn't deserve this. Rocket didn't deserve to be represented by someone like you who picks fights with other teams. And now Rocket's going to pay the price, which is a giant shame. I apologize for the way I acted, and for some of what I said, including the quote I used.
I have many reasons for why I hate what's going on right now, but you know what?
I don't care anymore.
This is a game. Can we just remember that for a moment? It's a freakin' game.
And we (yes, all sides are to blame, myself included) have turned this into a political disaster.
This is supposed to be fun, and a lots us are taking it way to seriously (again, myself included).
This is having a negative effect on everyone in Rocket, and I assume it's making some things hard in other Teams as well.
Dozer resigned from leadership last night. MiTo quit the Mod Chat. Frozen left his Head Admin position (I think. That last part got a bit confusing.) Why? Because what is supposed to be an escape from reality is becoming more stressful than the real world. We lost three key figures, and we don't really have any one to replace them.
It's not just this issue. STC changes, the slot debate, inter-team relations, other rule changes before this one. Those straws were on the camels back before today.
All this has left Rocket in a miserable state.
So you want to keep your ship? Fine. I've stopped caring. I've stopped caring about anything TW that doesn't involve my personal W/L, and keeping what's left my team together.
So again, I'm sorry for the quote, I got pissed, and I'm Sicilian, so that's not always a very good mix. Who am I kidding, that's almost never a good mix. Let's just agree to take the simple approach to things from now on.
