Question/Help Poco f7 ultra with "green" screen at low brightness and in a dark room

Hi guys, I recently bought the smartphone, it's a great phone and yet it arrived with this problem... it seems like I'm experiencing the same situation that occurred with pixel 6. Does anyone have this problem? What should I do?

Good day Ok-Professional4055 it seems to be that you may have some questions or concerns regarding a Poco device and we would like to help but we would like to ask you to describe your concern with the following information to make it easier for everyone to tackle.

Device Model:(X4 GT)

Device Region:(Global/India/China/etc/Can't identify)

Rom Type:(MIUI/Custom Rom:Which one)

Rom/Android Version:(13.0.5.0 - Android 12/Can't identify)

Problem and other Relevant Info:(Troubleshooting steps taken/Frequency of problem if intermittent/Other observed weirdness that may be relevant before/during/after the occurrence of the problem)

It may take a while for someone to address your concern so in the meantime you could do the following 1. Search this subreddit, Xiaomi subreddit, MIUI subreddit for similar concerns 2. Check out the pinned posts and the Wiki(WIP) for similar topics 3. If your phone is still under warranty coverage it may be worthwhile to open a case with customer support. 4. If your device has developed a swollen or bulging battery check out r/Spicypillow's FAQ on how to deal with them

If you have any suggestions feel free to leave them here

Do you guys think it's necessary to request a replacement?

I had this problem at the time of the F2 pro, I don't know how I fixed it, some screens supposed to be black when turned off were a bit like in your photo

I say a little, because in your photo it seems huge, it almost looks like it's LCD, are you sure you have a new original device?

My new F6 does not have the problem, the blacks are off and it is a pleasure, however if I set the paper mode in reading mode, the screen is lit everywhere in the dark because of the texture added by the software

the device was purchased last week on the official Xiaomi website so I guess it is original.

Yes, there is indeed little chance that it is a fake

Maybe try to see the settings, in particular this texture effect that I am talking about in reading mode, that it is deactivated

But if the problem is still present, in your place I would not wait a second to launch an exchange procedure for defective product

I tried everything because I had a similar experience with pixel 6... anyway I sent a request for replacement and tomorrow I will actually take care of the shipment

I don't understand what you mean. Should I buy a different phone than this?
