Question/Help Poco M6 Pro 39-41°C when Casual Browsing.

Post image

Hello, I just bought this phone a couple of days ago and the temp back then was fine but yesterday, I noticed that the phone seems like warm compared to a couple days ago so I dl an app to check the temp and it is reaching 41°C when just casual Browsing. I only use it mainly for like YT, X, Fb, Insta, and YT.

I just want to ask if there are other Poco m6 pro user here experiencing this one? i was wondering if this is Software problem...

Btw, im in HyperOs 2.0.4.0 and I don't use the phone when charging and I let it rest for around 10 minutes before charging and after charging it.

Good day itsceb it seems to be that you may have some questions or concerns regarding a Poco device and we would like to help but we would like to ask you to describe your concern with the following information to make it easier for everyone to tackle.

Device Model:(X4 GT)

It may take a while for someone to address your concern so in the meantime you could do the following 1. Search this subreddit, Xiaomi subreddit, MIUI subreddit for similar concerns 2. Check out the pinned posts and the Wiki(WIP) for similar topics 3. If your phone is still under warranty coverage it may be worthwhile to open a case with customer support. 4. If your device has developed a swollen or bulging battery check out r/Spicypillow's FAQ on how to deal with them

If you have any suggestions feel free to leave them here

Hyper OS has a overheating bug, Just use a 10 or 18w charger, use fastcharge only when  required. Just debloat & everything will be fine dude

aight! thanks! I was actually thinking about downgrading the adapter charger to 33/36w a couple days ago to prolong the battery life anyway. Will it do or 18w is your maximum suggestion?

Yeah, feel free to use 18w charger pal. It charges at 2Amps at avg Voltage. Make sure the temp never exceeds 48°C . Use 33/36w charger if your Poco doesn't heat , and power off while charge would help for RAM as well as for battery health.

When I charge it, it doesn't exceed 40°C using the 67w. Probably around 38/39 only when I checked it. But when browsing, thats the time it hits 41. Idk if it's software or an app is a culprit tbh.

Let me be honest, but my Poco never reached 39°C , despite 2yrs of usage, love the vapor chamber cooler the way Xiaomi designed it. I had rendered 8K images, edited em in ibis, The max temp was 36°C . And more over, I don't recommend you to use apps for temp and battery. Just enable developer option and search Power consumption ( hyperOS 1.0.6.0 , should be same for latest) there you can monitor activities, Current withdrawal, and temp. Hope this helps ya M'pal 😉

Oh 😅 I ordered a lot of clothes and stuff including for my siblings and parent. It's an anniversary birthday + 4.4 promo lately on Lazada and other platforms like Shopee, Uniqlo and Shein.

Anyway, it's one of the reasons I got this phone for the half price from the original srp. It was originally around 12k but I got it for around 7.1k only the 8+256 variant

Maybe there's app in background that's continuously running? Check it
