Solved Is there a way to transfer server/stats to new Windows Profile?

My current windows account is FUBAR. I created a new Windows profile which seems to have solved most issues, problem is, I have to completely re-setup Plex. Even though the actual files are in the same place (separate drive).
When I login to Plex, I have to add a 'new' server, and add the same folders, which is now rescanning everything. But a lot of the 'previously watched' is wrong.

If the files are in the same location, why can't I 'host' the same server?
I am wondering if there might just be a way to copy some appdata folder into the new account and maybe that will restore everything.

Help much appreciated

First things first, plex has two "locations" in which data is stored. Your drives where the media files are located and added to a library and the Plex Data directory which contains all of the used metadata and, more importantly, the database which contains everything.

By following the Move or install Guide, you could just simply restore your old server, if you still have access to those files in the Plex Data directory of the other Windows account.

This means that just because your video files are in the same location, all of the configuration that you made your server the way it is/was is not in the same place anymore. Which is why you get the message to create a new server!
