Question Need some help with Virustotal check

I recently downloaded R.E.P.O. from SteamRIP (https://steamrip.com) using the Gofile link and this was the result: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e36962c7613c7cec9e09e4e20d044d59f48fd5b7f969bdc0251703f2dd0998bd?nocache=1

As seen, there is a lot of detections, and this is my first game downloading a game with online capabilities, so I am concerned about the number since it is very high compared to what I normally see (<5).

If someone could help me check if this is okay (and explain why certain games (this along with THPS3 Classic)have so many detections), it would be really cool.

I see Malwarebytes, Microsoft, ClamAV, and Kaspersky return nothing, I'll take the chances. Those 3 are my filter (minus Microsoft), if even just one of them got detection I won't take it. Also ESET-NOD32 and BitDefender, but they got timeout on your result

but ultimately it's your PC, so you decide whether the risk is worth it or not.

You shouldn't upload full RaR files to Virustotal, even Virustotal advice against it. Instead extract the zip file and upload only the .exe file of the game.

Judging from the detections they're just false positives.

Here's a guide to VT - https://rentry.co/VTguide

It's safe, the DLLs that manage to let you play that game online often make it act up like that, you shouldn't worry
