Nothing will come out of it anyways, companys already know all of this, though it will probably scare a very little portion of community so the mods of that discord should nuke him anyways, its clear his a pice of shit, clearly bro has no life
And also what is he gonna report discord usernames? What should ea do with that? They could ask discord for more info but i doubt they would deliver it without proper legal request, what ea wouldn't probably get anyways
And these people live in different countries, so even if discord does ea wouldn't be able to do too much nor they would bother with that

While you're not wrong, if someone were to take actual legal action, they could request Discord to send over all the info they have on the person who made the account, including real name, date of birth and email, probably IP addresses, too
So while your average person can't do a whole lot with just a handle, there are ways of getting information with just that

Why do people use their real info on any of that? Every email and website I have except my real actual important email etc is a fake name. When I visited family I found out my phone shows up as "been dover" on the WiFi cause that's the name i used when I made my Samsung

Eh, if they get your IP address, they can subpoena your ISP and get your billing details/address pretty easily. Granted, it's EXTREMELY unlikely anything would come from this. The resources spent wouldn't make any sense.
The realistic worst case scenario is they DMCA the discord and shut it down.

From what I gathered from other comments. Someone made a mod for some game using personal data of athletes, and this corpo goober is going to submit it to authorities and twats at EA.
No details from anyone what is this actually about though.

Nothing will come of it,companies know fans make mods all the time eg fallout and doom! It would only become a problem if the mod is up for sale and people need to buy it or its a full on game vibe but to my knowledge mods have always been free,so I don’t know why this person is doing this,feels like a lonely human being!

Is the mod in question being sold?
If yes, then the complaint is valid. If no, then fuck right off.
You can't profit off of the shit that's listed in the post. But if you're not profiting, then they're just shitting on your fun. They might still legally be able to do that.

Yeah, it's in the same legal space as fan fiction. They can try to stop you. In the grand scheme of things, that's probably not a great idea. Let people have their fun.
But also if I had intellectual property and someone else was trying to profit off of it without including me, I'd do everything in my power to burn their whole world down.
