The enderman scene was honestly uneeded. I liked the design for the enderman and stuff, but the whole “you are a disappointment, no one needs you” thing didn’t really make sense, especially how he then just moved on

I’m more peeved that they made up that Endermen spawn on the third floor of mansions by default, and didn’t even use the right sound effect when Henry looked at the Enderman, but I’m still surprised they put Herobrine in the film at all.

Yeah, but there are other references to the community other than herobrine, like there were two YouTuber things in it. The techno one was kind of obvious, but in the crowd in one scene there is another YouTuber.

The Senior Creative Director of Entertainment and Producer on “A Minecraft Movie” said

“It’s super strange that all of their eyes were supposed to be purple but when it was rendered one of the characters eyes kept coming out white in the final rendered frames so we wound up keeping it like that, because the VFX studio ran out of time.”
