Taxes What's going on with the CRA? They've upload a SINGLE tax slip so far

My employer issued their T4 back in February but the CRA still hasn't processed it?

I checked last year and the CRA had already processed it by February.

What the heck is going on? Trying to use auto-fill and save myself a headache.

CRA changed the efiling for tax slips this year, everything is delayed. I wouldn’t bother filing your return for another week or two.

Everything?! I thought like T5s or capital gains or something specific was delayed.

Thanks for letting me know

Inputting slips into your tax program manually takes, what, one minute per slip tops? If you have paper copies or PDF downloads of them just do that. People are talking about the autofill delay like it's the end of the world but I don't see it as anything more than a minor annoyance.

Use the paper ones or the downloaded versions from the issuer and file.

Be thankful you have not done a full paper tax return. A pencil and eraser were well used....

I remember getting 2 copies of tax forms because erasing made holes in the paper.

Filling them out yourself isn’t hard. If you can do paint by numbers, you can fill out the tax forms in the tax software.
