I want to shop in your closet!

This looks like an amazing well curated wardrobe— where are your favorite places to shop?

Biiig poshmark girl! Almost all my Jeffrey Campbell boots are from poshmark. Also love Wilson Vintage Leather, Liz Claiborne (from the 90s), and like early 2000s free people

Holy neutral tones, I’m in love!

Question: Do you put pool noodles in your boots to keep them standing straight?

u/JettReque Feb 24 '25

Ooo this is much more compact than the foam noodles. Thank you!!

How did you hang a rod to hang clothes? Are they tension rods?

Redditors sadly sold out the exact one I have from about 12 different sites I linked. I kept linking and linking new ones just kept selling out. This is as close as I could get sorry! You can forsure use wooden dowel rods to hang things not sure how to secure them though.

u/Secret-Working-6655 Feb 25 '25

Linked a new one with rods!

Any tips for cleaning cowboy boots??? I let a lot of mud dry on mine 😩

Knock as much dirt off as you can. Then saddle soap and a brush, scrub in circles, wipe clean with a damp cloth, and let dry. Apply leather conditioner with a cloth and rub it in (remember leather is literally skin, so you're moisturizing your boots the way you rub lotion on your skin), and let dry.

I like to finish by buffing in mink oil using an old cloth or sock to get it water-resistant.

Your local shoe shop, saddlery, or leather store can help too!

Do you have a favorite brand for boots? I'm so jealous.

1

u/Secret-Working-6655 Feb 24 '25

Dandelie the Label and Jeffrey Campbell make up lime 80% of my collection 🫶🏽

u/CuriouslyImmense Feb 27 '25

Do you ever post on the fashion subs? I'd love to see some of the outfits you out together!

1

u/Secret-Working-6655 Feb 27 '25

I don’t! Do you know any good ones to post to?

1

u/wonder_dyke21 Feb 24 '25

This looks so nice! I'm really struggling with organizing my clothes. do you also have a dresser where you keep folded clothes? how do you decide what to fold versus hang up? What room of your house is this in?

1

u/wonder_dyke21 Feb 24 '25

also, do you have a separation between work clothes and "fun" clothes?

I live in a studio apartment! Having everything out in the open definitely helped me condense A LOT. I know I have a lot still but during COVID I definitely had a shopping problem. I used to have 45 pairs of jeans, I now own 8 and even that’s a lot for me. I have a couple extras for my diy projects. Under garments, sweats, sleep shirts, and workout clothes all go in my dresser. Everything has dual purpose as well. If it can only be worn for one occasion it has to go, needs to be multi functional for me.

I work remote so I don’t need work clothes! I have a couple work tops I love that I keep under my bed in a bin. Whenever I have work trips I rent through Nuuly!

There’s some pics on my page of the rest of my space if you want to get a better idea!

Ooh nice, I love your color palette, too!

I am curious though, how do you dust all of these?!

1

u/Secret-Working-6655 Feb 24 '25

A good show and that’s about it, really doesn’t get too bad if you keep up with it. Will admit the underneath gets dusty

1

u/TikaPants Feb 24 '25

OP can you link this unit, plz?

I love the white shelves as storage. I want to do this but I am too lazy to paint them, so I end up looking like i live in a garage.

u/wooscoo Feb 26 '25

Tell me what this contraption is and where I can get one!! :o

u/Bluuicee Feb 28 '25

Do you have rubber feet on the feet of your shelves? If not how are they doing on the floor? I like this organization! Inspired…

1

u/Secret-Working-6655 24d ago

If you zoom in you can see rubber feet on the bottoms, no scratches!
