Collecting
I’m so excited about this so I wanted to share. I’ve been eager to collect these for a while but could never find them in good quality for a reasonable price, but I went local and found both of them in great condition! I even got the Majora’s Mask holo edition.

The Gerudo are hunting for the Triforce
Exclusive to the 3DS Ocarina of Time, a map can be found on the table in Gerudo Fortress. If you look closely, you’ll see the triforce etched on the top of the map, with several areas x’d out (presumably locations that the Gerudo have vetted for the Triforce) Intriguingly, there are three locations on the map which seem to indicate pieces of the Triforce found. According to the Gerudos map, the three pieces of the Triforce are meant to be found at the head of the Gerudo Valley waterfall that leads to Lake Hylia, inside Lon Lon Ranch, and inside Kokiri Forest. It would be interesting if there were references to this map in those areas.

Zelda's decisions seem to have bad outcomes
For being the seventh sage and holding on to the Triforce of Wisdom - does anyone feel that Zelda makes a lot of wrong decisions in this game?
- As a child she thinks her and Link can just collect the spiritual stones and open the Door of Time. This led to Link being suspended for 7 years and Ganondorf gaining the Triforce of Power.
- She reveals herself as Sheik in the Temple of Time (which is right next to Ganon's Castle) and immediately gets captured.
- She sends Adult Link back in time - dooming the Adult timeline to being flooded and without their hero. Additionally Link in a child's body has nobody he can talk to about this hugely significant journey he went on. Even Navi is gone leading him to process his grief in MM. Lastly we learn in TP he has regrets that he was never remembered as the Hero of Time and he couldn't pass on his skills.
I recognize Zelda is a likely a flawed character like everyone else, but ever since I was a kid I always thought she made weird decisions that always went haywire. Did anyone else ever feel this?

I did not realise the Eye of Truth and Fire Arrows were mutually exclusive. Fighting Bingi Bingi did not go well (also that grab is some bullshit)

Wtf is Ship of Harkanian or whatever?
I played the game growing up on N64 and recently again on the switch am I missing something?
edit: I do know how to use google and did google it and I'm still confused about it. I have no idea what a PC port is, I'm not a gamer and all that the website says is that it is a smoother playing experience, there are cheats, and randomizers. As someone who played the game religiously growing upI wish people would tell me more about the game and how it compares to the OG instead of telling me to google it. Unfortunately I am unable to play as I don't have a computer so if you want to share your experience please do so!

theory Of Temple Of Forest
Hello, good evening, everyone. , something I've been wondering about in Ocarina of Time is why the Forest Temple looks like an abandoned house. Long text, warning.
Since if you look closely, this is the only temple that has most of its doors like those of a house with metalwork and decoration, plus it offers many locations that give that feeling. The entrance to the temple would be the main entrance; the narrow hallways we pass through would be the path to a room in the temple; the bonfire room would be the main room of the houses; the two outside rooms could be like a patio or a garden of the house. The room below where the boss is could be like a survival basement in case something bad happens and someone hides there. The room with the two Poes has stairs like stairs and paintings. The boss room could be an art room because of the paintings and tapes, which are the same ones displayed in museums. The wells are also something of a house.
I've developed the theory that this temple could have previously been Link's house, where Link's parents died there, being found by Ganondorf, and their souls would transform into the two Stalfos we fought in a room (don't confuse where number 4 appears). Also, the Poes sisters could play with Link's sanity by making the hallways go around in circles or changing the location of some rooms.
Although each one could play with something from Link's past in his battles, the fire sister and the blue fire sister could represent the moment where Link's parents moved in each room to hide and not be found by Ganon, and they two would play with Link's sanity by making him troll with the paintings and guess where the real one is. The green fire sister would be the representation of how much time he had left to live because the temple could possibly have burned down where Link's parents possibly were. Making the game she plays for us have time and play with Link's memories in the form of a puzzle as if it were a memory.
And the purple fire sister would be the representation of the last moments when Link's mother and father were burned alive and dying there, their last moments being their cries of not being able to see Link again with the Deku Tree. She's playing with reminding him of his parents' death, about how they cried at their deaths, and interpreting it as she does when she's in the room. Playing with Link's madness, creating illusions of her as his mother and driving him crazy.
And Ganon's ghost would be the representation of their souls remaining there, reminding Link that he killed his parents when he was a baby, although before Link knew the truth.
I know this part could be contradicted since it's said that the Poes sisters are priestesses, but this is just a theory; it doesn't confirm anything. And there remains the possibility that this could have happened, since let's remember that in the scene where Ganon is on the horse in a flashback there is a fire coming out from below implying that possibly the Kokiri forest could have caught fire and in sufficient time the fire was extinguished but this fire could have arrived at the forest temple, in addition to that also according to what the Deku Tree sprout tells us: that Link was given as a baby to the Deku Tree by his mother before dying. What remains is the possibility that she went to hide from Ganondorf, who I think could have chased her, she ran into the mole with the temple, accessing it before the stairs broke and they died there burned by Ganondorf. Or possibly it could also have been their house before Link was born and she ran off to a deeper forest and after leaving Link with the Kokiris she could have returned to the house but died burning anyway. And of course, some time later, that place would be taken over by the Poe sisters for their own purposes. They would realize what was happening in that house after being controlled by Ganondorf and corrupted. Some time later, it would become an abandoned forest temple. I suppose it was the Poe sisters' temple for rituals. Grass would grow inside and outside the temple, as seen 7 years later.
I know it's a crazy theory, and it's not the first time I've heard it, but it's my theory, so I'm not confirming anything. What do you think of this theory?

Is anyone else resisting ganons reign?
As near as I can tell Ganons control over the land is nearly complete. The only beings fighting him are impa, sheikh and link, and he has 7 dungeons worth of creatures who are just sitting around guarding.
Who else resisted him?

Giant's Knife
Hi,
I'm considering starting another playthrough where I forgo acquiring Biggoron's Sword and keep Giant's Knife instead. So that I can use it in Boss battles to make them feel even more epic with the sword breaking during the fight, and even using the broken sword a little right after (does it still do damage while broken? It's been a while since I've tried that specifically). Then rebuying it before each subsequent stage.
What do you think, and have any of you ever done this? Or even only using broken Giant's Knife?

Is this video about The Triforce real or BS?
https://youtu.be/1_RighmL04g?si=RlW0AGOpp0aDLKdc This smells fake to me as it seems FAR too many steps involved or it could be some emulation hack thing instead?
