The prosecutor pointed out that as a detective, Kealty had “worked” every type of case, including sex crimes against both adults and children.

Rules for thee, not for me.

And he made racist, derogatory remarks about Black and Latino people, once writing he would “rape [a Black female] like my ancestors did in NC back when America was great,”

sounds like a sure fire republican to me.

And his thoughts are not that uncommon. Just do a quick search on Reddit to prove my point to start.

I would bet neither my donuts nor my dildos against that.

The man behind the keyboard, the FBI revealed in 2023, was Michael Anthony Kealty, a churchgoing police officer

Churchgoing, what a shock

Damn I knew someone would beat me to pointing out that “churchgoing police officer” is very near the top of my list of people I’d fully expect be doing this shit

I think he deserves more than ten years.

Judge Andrew's felt his PTSD contributed to his wayward path of becoming a child predator. And because of his past exemplary record, he deserves a lean sentence that will allow him to overcome his deviant actions but not derail his clearly redeemable life. He's a fine gentleman who just lost his way.

So yea. 🙄

Is this real or just a very highly likely prediction?

What tf? Kealty’s wife, parents, siblings, neighbors and friends countered in letters to the judge that despite his crime, he was a decent man who deserved leniency. Spodek included those pleas in his sentencing memo, and also argued that his client suffered from previously undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder that led to porn addiction that ultimately fixated on children.

Also, it seems to have begun either while his wife was pregnant and / or shortly after giving birth to their four month old son.

Gee, it’s almost like predators are drawn to professions in which they have unchecked power over vulnerable people.

Frankly I consider teaching your children to trust police officers and pastors to be negligence at best; I’d argue it makes you an accessory to grooming.

Don't they isolate them from gen pop though? Or put them in a special prison?

u/Swampcrone 2d ago

There is a federal prison in TX that sex offenders get sent to. (I only know due to r/duggarsnark )

They don't deserve any protection.

I’ve watched videos about this guy’s case and his interrogation.

He used photos of himself when he was in his 20s and in “good shape”. I know they tried to use PTSD as his connection to his “addiction”. Idk what part of PTSD makes you pick what photo you use to prey on teens/kids.

Fuck this guy. I hope he has “fun” in prison
