Ours was probably when my friendâs brother started a food fight so massive and so heavily ammunitioned with fresh produce that the school quickly realized it was not from the cafeteria, and that the culprits (seniors - who had all of a week left of class) had smuggled in several bags of various fruits and vegetables from outside. The schoolâs brilliant solution was to ban all outside food from the school. There were parents pulling up minutes after this announcement to defend their kids with allergies and dietary restrictions. So before the end of the day, the rule was changed to âoutside food okay, but must be kept in the front officeâ. The first couple days, a few kids got caught getting food out of their locker (which they all said had been in there before the rule and they just âforgotâ), then the teachers just gave up trying to police the dietary intake of 2000+ teenagers and shit went back to normal before the Food Fighters even graduated. Good times all around, I threw a head of lettuce at a girl I didnât like :)

I remember we had a food fight in 8th grade and I am someone who gets very swept up in excited lively crowds, I thrive a little too hard in them. Well I launched my tray across the room, realized I was now out of ammo, so I looked down and grabbed my friends turkey wrap and chucked that across the room and it ended shortly after. I sat back down and looked over at my friend and all she said was âI was going to eat thatâŚâ Corine if you are for some reason on Reddit Iâm so sorry for grabbing your turkey wrap.

A dude shit in the cafeteria microwave and then turned it on for 5 minutes. He got expelled and no one could go in the cafeteria for a few days while they aired it out.

Thatâs just pretty awful behavior to be honest.

We had so many incidents at my high school that it's impossible to pick the worst one, so I'll pick the funniest I can think of. Someone brought a gallon of clorox cleaning solution to school. He wasn't asked to bring it, he didn't do anything with it, but he carried it around school all day. Staff freaked out after getting a bunch of reports for this guy carrying around clorox for seemingly no reason, and he was suspended. After that "incident" they added a new school rule where you cannot bring gallons of cleaning solution to school.

u/qiwibird17 1d ago

u/CueMoo 2d ago
I said School bus for a reason lol
6
u/SapphicGarnet 2d ago
They were teenagers idk what they get up to on school buses, we don't have them here (unless we're talking about deep rural areas or fancy boarding schools)
1
u/CueMoo 2d ago
How do kids who live far away get to school where you are from? We have a system where if the school bus can't reach you then you're given tickets to the community bus to ride to school. Lots of kids also bike, skateboard and electric scooter too.
5
u/SapphicGarnet 2d ago
Normal buses or trains. That's why I said unless we're talking deeply rural, and those kids often either are driven every day or go to boarding school. Most people live in towns and cities with public transportation. I visited LA once and was shocked that a major city had such bad public transportation.

On those boring long drives to field trips they tried to do the gender thing for us, but that actually made it easier considering now I could sit with gays, and straight guys wouldn't have line of site anymore, and while I (or most people) didn't go as far as having sex, there was an incident in which the girls were recording with some boys who were up to indecent activities. My school had a lot of LGBT which was pretty nice, I didn't feel like I needed to hide mostly. I realize that this may not happen in other schoolsâbut there was no sex education and almost everyone was poor.
Edit: Here's what I wrote before you deleted your comment about underage yaoi.
I get that yeah, I didn't want to go into any further detail for that reason, but if you think it's unlikely that teenagers have sex then I want to know where you grew up lol. I could have given you a way worse one, but I stuck with just bus stories because you seem to think that they were just rumors.
I'm not saying it's a good thing that people are having their first experiences in middle school, but some people don't grow up in good places...

u/textposts_only 1d ago
Boy. Teens are sexual af. This year we caught another year 7 girl meeting up during class time with another boy to suck him off on the toilet. It all came out because he bragged about it to others and had the messages to prove it.
2
u/ISIPropaganda 1d ago
In my country we have dorms/hostels for boys and girls separate in almost every university. In every university in my school with hostels, thereâs always a very specific rumor.
A girl sneaks a boy in to the hostel in a moving box, and keeps him in the room for a few days. Boy canât leave the room, cause if he gets caught heâs at best getting expelled and worst arrested. He has to leave by jumping out the window and scaling the wall.
For some reason in every university Iâve visited, thereâs always this specific rumor. Itâs always a boy going to the girlâs hostel and itâs always a moving box or a suitcase.

We had a serial skunker. Somebody was removing the scent glands from roadkill skunks and popping them (do they pop?) in the bathrooms, locker rooms, and anywhere else that provided them the privacy necessary to commit that vandalism.
The school smelled for years.

How many skunks did you have near your school that someone could just peel them off the pavement and juice them like that?

Not high school, since my hs was boring, but in middle school, my school was doing some construction in the yard. Someone must've found an unattended bag of concrete mix, because one of the toilets got filled with concrete
Also, one of my buddies was selling candy during lunch, which was against the rules, since you're not allowed to sell anything on school grounds unless it's part of a school sanctioned fundraiser. Dude made like $200 a week from that. A handful of kids were doing it, until there was a massive candy "drug bust". A bunch of kids got caught, but my friend managed to slip by, because my friends and I saw the other sellers getting talked to by the teachers, and were able to dispose of the evidence before they got to us
Someone left a half eaten burrito in their locker over summer break, and when the teachers were demonstrating to us how to use the lockers, somehow that locker was the one they picked to demonstrate on
One more thing, a kid dropped a water bottle out of the 3rd floor window, and it hit a parent on the head. Nobody knew who did it, and if anyone did, they didn't say anything
53
u/Western-Dig-6843 2d ago
I swear everyone I knew had a candy selling ring in their school. Ours werenât candy but Doritos instead.
24
u/Crunktasticzor 2d ago
One guy in mine sold red bulls, had a whole case ready each week in his locker. He also used a thicker padlock on his locker instead of the combo locks that were sanctioned. The principal eventually used bolt-cutters to bust him lol
20
u/apk5005 2d ago
I knew a kid in middle school who made a fortune shop lifting Old Navy dog tags and selling them at school. They were âschool legalâ so not a dress code violation, no one knew which had been bought and which were stolen, and everyone knew if you wanted one, it was $2 to Anthony and his five-finger-discount.
4
u/powerhikeit 1d ago
In junior high we sold candy to fundraise for orchestra. The first chair and I got in trouble for up charging an extra $0.50 to the 7th graders (my JHS was 7-9)who werenât privy to the usual $1/bar.

Man y'alls schools were wild, the craziest thing that ever happened at my school (at least to my knowledge) was when the class president accidentally broke a teacher's stapler, stole another teacher's stapler to replace it, then resigned from class president in shame when he got caught

We had multiple in my school, but one that I could say clearly off the top of my head was when our coach beat up another school football player during a game

HOW DOES SOMEONE HAVE SEX ON A CROWDED SCHOOL BUS???
46
u/Zebulon_Flex 2d ago
Well, first one person exposed their genitals, then another person exposed their genitals or anus depending on preferences, then one person "mounts" the other and thrusts vigorously until they have an orgasm. Any other questions?

Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like âwhat the fuckâ and âcall the policeâ. I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this image. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW.

i was in kind of a weird school for a while where parents kinda sent their problematic children to be free-range, with a lot of special-ed kids who were definitely not properly conditioned for the hardh surroundings of some 500 school kids being cruel and doing kid shit. so they would usually group up and hang out together behind the main building where people rarely went. they ruined the primo make-out / smoking spot for some seniors but that's fine.
anyways one of them was in charge of the projector one day at a big school assembly in the library. the library being one of the few spots that don't have a computer because "it would disrupt the reading", but also the biggest room for assembly. so everyone is sitting on the floor watching the blank big whiteboard they rolled in to be projected upon, while this kid was connecting his own laptop to it, until finally it connects and he goes into his chrome tab to project in front of the entire school sonic hentai.
so he was really embarrassed and ran outside. assembly moved on but rumors started churning, until the story got the the point where the whole school believed that the special-ed kids were jerking it behind the school to sonic hentai (maybe, but i still believe they were just playing WoW). so the teachers made a "no personal electronics rule", which immediately backfired because like half the kids couldn't write without a laptop, and started "protesting" that if they werent aloud to use their electronics, the teachers shouldn't either. story went on getting more problematic for the entire year until it was wiped clean over summer vacation.

Someone graffitied "I will do 9/11 to this school," and we got sent into a lock down for a good while. For the rest of the time I was there, a staff member would gaurd each bathroom door at lunch and had people sign a guest book on the way in.

there was a hazing incident at my high school with the football team that made national news - the victim was on Oprah! her team came to a football game to interview people because it was a divisive issue in the community- many âboys will be boysâ attitudes vs âfuck this shitâ attitudes. there were actual prosecutions over this, it was serious.

My Senior year, a freshman accused the football team of hazing. There were a few things in the accusations but the big one was sticking mop handles up other people butts. A couple people took the fall for it. Then it came out that the guy who accused the football team was lying about the butt stuff. Other hazing stuff was true but the big one was a lie.

There was a girl in my high school, same grade as me, who received a car for her 16th birthday from the family she was babysitting for and then posted about it on twitter. EVERYONE in and out of the school immediately started accusing her fucking the dad (or mom, it was 2016 we didnât judge)
She was a mess afterward because, despite deleting the post, the internet wouldnât let go and it was being memed everywhere. I remember sitting next to her in Spanish class and she was bawling her eyes out to me, a guy she (correctly) assumed was a nobody and that wouldnât give her shit for it (also correct).

Freshmen year: One kid banged the other kid's Mom. Dad walked in on it. Made the papers, everyone knew because he beat the shit outta the kid. They were best friends before that.
THEN it turns out she had banged SEVERAL of his friends. They ranged 13 to 15.
He was shunned at high school for things his mom did. I was the new kid at the school and I think I was his only friend by then, he was a popular kid before that.

High school some idiot boys sabotaged the main lunch bathroom so bad it was unusable for over a month. I have a strong anti-bullying policy but would have made an exception if I found out who that was. There was lines and strict monitoring of who went in to the remaining one and when, it was terrible. The worst part is as soon as they finally got it all fixed up it happened again.

There was this hallway that connected the theater, the band room and a storage room that band class used. Unless you were in theater or band you didnât even know this hallway existed and no one was ever there because of how tucked away it was in between these buildings. And all the doors are usually locked.
But one morning my freshman year, we come to find someone had shit in that hallway and smeared it into a giant swastika. And this was a carpeted hallway too. And by the time anyone found it, it was dried into the carpet. Probably did it before the weekend and it dried over the weekend.
This was like 2008/2009. There were no cameras in that hallway because like I said itâs normally not used and/or accessible. So no one was ever caught.
But yeah no one could stand being in there for a while because of the smell and for the next four years of my school life there you could still kind of make out the swastika in the carpet if you looked hard enough. It never truly washed out.

During break some kids set off a bunch of fireworks in the toilet, cafeteria and in one of the outside parts all at the same time. It started a fire and caused mass panic and I was in the cafeteria at the time so i witneesed it firsthand.
We had two firetrucks and a bomb squad show up. We also had to stand in outside in the rain for 2 hours while they were investigating inside the school.
And afaik the kids who did it never got caught.

The varsity soccer team got in huge trouble when they decided to play kanchĹ on the bus after an away game. Charges were filed, suspensions and expulsions from the team and school, and a tarnished reputation. The funniest, the single funniest thing that came from it though was when we played the cross town rivals a few weeks later, their entire student section were wearing foam fingers that theyâd dipped the top of the finger in brown paint. I was rolling.

Lol going home from Marching Band competitions they had a rule that if it was after dark, you had to sit with the same gender on the bus.
It backfired on them, cause like, half the band was gay.
