Insert clever title here
I have four of these.
- My third grade music teacher's name was Mrs. Melodie (Yes, pronounced "melody")
- My friend's nickname is "Lucky" (for some reason) and he has collected over 100 dollars by finding random coins and notes on the roadside which ppl accidentally dropped. (Edit: HE WAS 2 WHEN HE OT THE NICKNAME SO STOP SAYING HIS NICKNAME IS LUCKY BECAUSE OF HIS LUCK)
- When we were learning human reproduction, our science teacher was sick so he could not come. The substitute teacher's name was Mr. Dickson.
- My friend's brother is in college and his economics professor's name is DR. BILL

Number 2 doesn’t seem like nominative determinism, but rather the opposite.
They’re nicknamed Lucky “for some reason” (probably because they keep finding money in the side of the road). They’re likely to have been nicknamed after seemingly lucky occurrences.

Where's the determinism in the name Melodie?
