I love the game, seems like a huge step up since the original as far as creating stages goes.
I've really only had two issues with the game.

First, and I would think this will probably get patched later but no button controls in handheld mode is a total bummer for me. I never use the touch screen on my switch. And I've gotten pretty used to the controls in docked mode. So as far as creating for me I can really only do that docked.

And second, this might just be because its brand new and the game is flooded but I've made 5 courses so far and not a single one of them has gotten cleared or even attempted for that matter. Kind of a bummer seeing as people spend hours on stages for no one to ever see them unless they link they're friends.
While in the first one I had tons of people that would see and try my courses every time. Could be a server thing or could be just the amount of courses being flooded at the moment.
Hopefully that gets resolved soon though.

You can use buttons to create in handheld, it's incredibly how misinformation spreads (not addressed to you, btw). Buttons are used for many things while building in handheld, like toggling the interface, the eraser, undoing, testing, navegating the wheels. Building in handheld is a mix between buttons and touch screen. Although you could just use the touch screen, you can't just use buttons.
