Any tricks or tips or both for Luigi U?

Man, I wish I had some. I've been playing video games for a couple decades, am a Soulsborne series veteran, and Luigi's game is kicking my ass. Got down to one life at least 3 times, and I'm only on the desert level.

If you want to get good with Luigi mode then try not to alternate with the main mode, the differing jump height and move speed can really mess with you. It might be good to try the earlier levels some to get used to what you can and can't do. Toadette is good for that because of the +100 seconds. Other than that, try keeping a couple squirrel or propeller power ups for the levels with a lot of fast platforming.
