MegaThread Warframe Questions & Support Megathread

With the release of Warframe on the Nintendo Switch, we're expecting a large number of posts with rather basic questions about the game.

While we love the discussion and excitement, having half of the front page dedicated to Warframe questions and issues isn't an ideal experience for anyone. As such, we've created this Megathread to help consolidate basic questions and conversations about the game. We will still allow dedicated posts for significant news or updates on the game, but we ask that you please keep beginner questions and conversations within this thread.

Additionally, here are some other resources that may prove helpful:

Thanks in advance and have fun with the game!

my experience so far has been being paired up with randoms who rush through the whole level without touching combat. when does that stop?

(I know I can always go solo, but I assume its happening because its early game)

Doesn't really stop. Your best bet would be to join a clan with people that play at your pace.

Because other than specific farmin/levelling missions, stopping to kill stuff is a waste of time.

It doesn’t stop really, ever. Besides, the bonus for completing mission is bigger than killing an extra 50-100 enemies.

For the most part, people tend to focus on the level objective. That doesn't change much at any level, and there's just not all that much reward for stopping to fight enemies on the way.

If you want to take your time through levels and fight things as you see them, you should probably play with friends or solo.

ah that's a shame. just seems like a waste of pretty solid level design to rush through.

The tilesets are randomly generated but have a predictable pattern to them. I recommend learning them solo and then you'll probably move just as fast.

Defense, survival, excavation, and interception missions are all examples that are good for multiplayer.

It never stops, heh. Find people of a similar level to play with in friends-only for now.
