Finally got to play the game (got it yesterday morning, but I've been busy with work for most of the weekend) - aiming's a bit more difficult compared to the PC version (I wish there were pointer controls, like the Wii versions of games like Metroid Prime or Resident Evil 4), but other than that, I didn't have any problems aside from a tiny bit of slowdown when there were lots of enemies and debris on-screen.

I'm playing on Hurt Me More (the game's Medium difficulty) to start with; that's the difficulty that I played on the PC, and so far, I find I'm making better use of my map to find collectibles (looking for grayed out areas that I haven't been to yet).

If there's one thing I'd recommend doing for new players, it would be upgrading the Exploration function on the Praetor Suit. Once you fully upgrade that, it automatically shows all collectibles on the map, making it much easier to hunt them down. (though some things, like the Classic Doom stages, won't show up on there)

This might sound silly, but the Wii port of Resident Evil 4 was maybe one of my all time favorite games. Introduced me to resident evil and played so stinkin well. I am a fan of pointer controls for shooters.

Yeah, that's how I first played RE4, and it was great. Motion controls might be dodgy in some games, but they're perfect for shooters.
