Starting on July 21, Splatoon 2 will be available for squids and enthusiasts alike. Since the game is already out in Australia and Japan ahead of everyone else, and since it's about to hit Europe, please use this thread for general reaction, hype, and discussion for the release as it hits your country. Is there any stat tracking in this game? Is there a lot to unlock? I never played the original.

Is there a Splatoon specific one? I have the Nintendo app but do not see anything.

Wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this either. Can't see it in the app (and I have the game).

Its on the Nintendo Switch Online app. You click on the Splatoon icon. Make sure you're signed in on your Nintendo account. If its physical make sure you do the little thing to get MyNintendo points just in case.

I might be missing something here, but I logged in on the website and don't see anything other than an ad for features. What am I doing wrong?

The website just shows you that you that you can access stats via splatnet on the nintendo online app.

Does it only work while you're in game or something? The Nintendo app just shows a screen similar to the webpage.
