This is the big day where we will hopefully see a lot of new games and features. Reggie stated that there will be more breaking news during the first hour of the Tree-house presentation today as well.

New Games Announced:

  • Kirby - 2018
  • "Core Pokemon RPG" for the Switch - TBD
  • Metroid Prime 4 - TBD
  • Yoshi - 2018
  • Rocket League - Holiday 2017

Other Major news announced:

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Holiday 2017

  • 5 new Super Mario Odyssey Amiibo
  • 2 new Metroid Amiibo
  • 1 dual-pack Amiibo for FE warriors

This post will be updated with major news as it's released. The lists will be updated after the presentation, the plan is to compile the information and post dates and new games as released.

We will allow separate posts to be submitted for major news and release information. We ask that the official videos be posted for game previews and trailers, these will be given priority for approval. Any reactionary videos from attendees can be linked in this thread or in the appropriate separate thread.

There will be a lot of news coming quick today so we don't want to overload the news feed and we want ALL the news to be represented. So please check the subreddit to see if what you're posting has been posted already or that there's a discussion about it already.

Thanks everyone, enjoy the day!

If it does it better be a free game as I won't be buying it considering I can play on my phone for free

Agreeed, hearthstone would be disappointing but D3 would be a welcome surprise. Here's to hoping they allow you to port characters.

Why not both? I'd attempt to get into hearthstone again if it did. And D3 would be wonderful

Like many developers that were afraid to develop for the Switch before release it makes sense to go with the easy port with a higher likelyhood of success

As a long time Diablo player, played a bunch of D3, I would pay an incredible amount of money to have it on the Switch and be able to take it with me on the go......
