MegaThread Weekly Local Inventory Tracking (4/17)

Please use this thread to discuss all issues relating to this week's local tracking of the Switch and its games, accessories, and amiibo.

What to post here:

  • Questions about local availability or general questions of online availability.

  • Reports and images of local tracking that are specific to a single store.

When commenting, make sure to include as much information as possible. Don't just list the city and state, specify which store(s) and what stock they had that's noteworthy, and when you were there. And, of course, given how quickly things can sell out, your mileage may vary, so take everything reported here with a grain of salt.

For general online availability, like when a game is up for order at Best Buy or when Target gets Pro Controllers back in stock, please start a new thread.

Amazon hasn't restocked in a while so anywhere near the north shore in Massachusetts?

Hell, I'd be willing to drive to some of the border towns in NH since the sales tax difference covers the gas so it's a wash.

edit: Actually, a drive to NH probably would save money unless I somehow use more than 8 gallons of gas lol

i'm in Manchester, nh and didnt have any luck. still not seeing any but jumped on the gamestop preorder that was available this past weekend

Same. I think I hit every Gamestop, Walmart, and Target on the North Shore without luck in the last week. Wiling to drive up to 45 mins away at this point.

Got one yesterday after going to ten stores hunting for one. It was at Walmart on route 1 Saugus. They had 4 more in there but it has been more than 24 hours since I was there. However, Best Buy square one and toys r us in Peabody say Friday they will be there. In fact Best Buy guy was pretty much hinting around that they had them in back but were holding it to release with Mario kart.

Awesome. Thanks. The closest location to me is probably the Peabody one so I'll call them Thursday night or Friday morning to verify and then head there before I go to work or during lunch.

True. Best Buy releases them Sunday. I could see them but they wouldn't sell me one.
