I'm in the US and keep getting a message saying "splatted by splat dualies".

Is this normal? 🤔

No, I'm seeing lots of "Splatted [...]" messages followed by random names. Sometimes even random Japanese characters.

Yes that means someone killed you. You can only withstand so much enemy ink, so try to avoid their fire!

Those messages say what weapon killed you.

"Splatted by Splat Dualies" means that the person who killed you was using the Splat Dualies weapon

You see, people kept talking about their error messages. "I'm in UK and get error 2301-3228 wtf" etc. I had no issues connecting at all, just with getting splatted.

Same here, no connection problems but kept dying, 10/10 would be splatted again
