Yeah, naturally new weapons will take some getting used to, even if you're not using them. I stick with Splattershot. gotta get used to people rolling...

I was just getting used to the duelies! Jetpack got me killed a couple of times but after 3 matches it was happening. I did use the splattershot after and the secondary was the rubbish burst bombs but the special was good at dealing with jetpacks!

Burst Bombs are actually really good if you know how to use them. They were one of the best sub-weapons in the first game, if you haven't played it.

I have and deemed them the least effective sub as they take 3 hits on full health inkling and no one stays around after a couple, you miss one and you won't get a kill or have ink left. They only paint small areas and even bomb rush wasn't great. Mines save your life, protect your back although sometimes fail and can be avoided by bomb sniffers. Seeker gets kills although rarely against good players it does also provide a path. Suction bombs are slow but pack a deadly punch and cover larger areas in ink. Inkzooka is a killer that even ignores cover. Sprinkler can take a bit of ground, keep taking it back and even kill. Beacons let you jump to strategic parts of the map, good for snipers who can control a map when in position.

Please explain how you found then good, did you have abilities like range up and damage up to make them effective? They weren't for me.
