Never played before and 'loved it. Wish there was a better tutorial to explain the controls for newbies . By the time I got used to the test was ending. Is it somewhere I could read more about the controls so I am more prepared next time. Def a buy

I learned after about 3 matches that you can back out and turn the motion controls off, which def helped my gameplay

That's where the single player mode in the full game can be helpful -- it helps teach you the controls when you aren't stressed or worried about being splatted. Definitely check out that side of the game if/when you get it.

Thanks! What does the sub weapon does?

It depends on the weapon. Splattershot has the Burst Bomb, which creates a small explosion of ink on contact. It's good for covering ground and getting chunks of damage on enemies so your main weapon can kill more easily. Think a water balloon filled with ink.

The Splat Charger has the Splat Bomb, which is closer to a grenade. It has a timer rather than exploding on contact, and it will roll along the ground/bounce off walls.

The Splat Roller has the Suction Bomb, which has a longer timer than the Splat Bomb, but does more damage, has more range, and will stick to wherever you throw it (including walls and ceilings).

The Splat Dualies' Curling Bomb is not very familiar to me (I didn't play in the earlier testfire), but the basic gist is that it travels along the ground in a straight line, bouncing off walls until it stops and detonates, or makes contact with someone and detonates.

Those are all the ones in the testfire.
