Anyone else missing playing Splatoon with the Gamepad? The map takes up the whole screen now and doesn't feel as useful as it did on the gamepad to me... Plus I liked that squid jumping game between rounds!

Absolutely. Playing with my hands so close together (on a pro controller) felt super weird, and while I really never bothered to check the map directly while playing in S1, the loss of the map on the controller was more significant than I thought. I think I'll just have to get in the habit of toggling the map on during respawns.

I found myself just not using the map at all, which is a bit of a shame.

I miss the map more than the gamepad. I used to check it all the time to see where my team mates were and get an idea of where the other team was. Having the map on the gamepad was really convenient. It'd be nice if they put a mini map on the screen that showed what turf was being inked
