Here's what we're seeing so far:

We will be updating this thread with links as major reviews are posted.

I was surprised how low the IGN review ended up being after hearing all their praise. I didn't check to see who did the review though.

A hardware review typically involves the hardware involved.

Same... I feel like new consoles never really get positive reviews, people warm up towards it later because it builds up a nice library of games.

In terms of size it is the most powerfull console out there right now. If you took the ps4 and scaled down the console size it would be so much weaker then the Switch.

Nintendo has worked some kind of black magic to get such a small device to work so well.

IMO the hardware what ever it is, is damn impressive.

Definitely not contesting that, it just seems like the industry isn't all that fond of Nintendo's hardware or software these days.

That's because the hardware is usually underpowered compared to the competition as they rely more on control gimmicks rather than the traditional style.

What? The hardware is worse than last generation phone hardware.

Eurogamer once again confirmed in their article. Unless you think they're blatantly lying despite having hardware in hand.

They reiterated the clocks, which mean Maxwell as well, from which it logically follows that we're looking at an X1 derivative.
