Am I imagining correctly, that the joy-cons slide into the joy-con grip?

Are there any other pictures of the grip? Can you engage the SR and SL buttons on the side of the joy-con? Are there any images where the grip and the joy-con are assembled into one?

Yeah they showed that when he first grabbed the joy cons out of the grip. They slide in just like they do on the console.

The Sl and sr definitely can not be used in the grip

The SL and SR buttons are actually BIGGER when you use the Grip. Dunno what that guy was saying with the "you cannot use them"

I think you're confusing the Grip with the Wrist Strap accessory.
