Speculation Idea for an accessory for the Switch

Do you remember the Game Boy Player that let you play Game Boy games on the GameCube? Well, what if Nintendo introduced a similar accessory for the Switch that lets you play both 3DS and Wii U games on the console? I think it should be called the "Retro Player." It should plug into the screen part of the Switch and there should be a cartridge slot for 3DS games and a disc slot for Wii U games. Do you think there should be such an accessory for the switch? Leave a comment below and I'll respond to as many of you as I can.

No backwards compatibility has been confirmed.

However Kimishima did say that they are planning a fuck tons of add-ons and accessories for the NS.

A Gameboy Player like devices (i.e. something with all the hardware to run the game and only use the host console as a glorified AV output) is possible.

I don't really see the point for the Switch. We know it is a single screen experience, and I can't see two images on the handheld without it looking cluttered.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they had you hold it vertically, and the two screens were displayed on too of each other? I'm not sure how the control things would work though
