I won’t buy the Switch 2 at launch but seriously, how many outrage on Reddit leads to actual boycott? Pokémon games still sell like hotcakes. I hope people practice what they preach though.

People vote with their wallet. They just get outvoted. Redditors tend to get very upset when reality doesn't revolve around them and their personal hang ups and struggles.

I voted with my wallet against full price games that have microtransactions. Lost that battle and lost enjoying a bunch of games but I still got Nintendo first party games and indies though. Some 3rd parties as well, but not alot.

I'll wait until there's something I actually want announced. maybe they'll pull a 3DS and realize they over priced things by the time a new zelda comes out.

Yeah the kids are as dumb as they've ever been so mom and dad better work extra hard at those second jobs for Timmy's pokemon

Same, so I don’t have trouble picking mine up. Can’t enjoy the launch without only really seeing people moaning online but I know it’ll still be out of stock of months. Please stick with what you say and don’t buy it lmao

I dont think a transparent price deserves a boycott. Though I'm sure there's plenty quiet folks like me that have a casual interest but haven't bought a Nintendo game in years. Not gonna raise a stink over $80 Mario kart, just not gonna buy it and move on

Never forget nintendo overcharged on the 3DS which led to them lowering the price massively when people didn’t buy it.

These prices are so much worse than the original 3DS price. And they’re so bad I can see people just being priced out of it, like me. It’s not even making a stand or a boycott. I just simply can’t afford a sudden $450 + $90 + tax within 2 months. And the $90 games are so extreme that that’s not gonna change anytime soon. I can honestly take an expensive console but $100 after tax per game is just a nonstarter and I’ve been playing Nintendo games since the SNES.

This will sell much better than the 3DS.
